Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

DH is having his work holiday party tonight. It's usually lots of fun; they have it at a resort so everyone stays over and eats a lovely dinner and gets tanked on free booze. Gomummy my favorite of DH's work collegues are a couple of Canucks, these two sales representatives who are absolutely hilarious. Perhaps this year I'll road trip it back to the Land of the Maple with them and come visit? :o

How is everyone? Anything to report with your DS's situation, Elmo? I think I just need to come work at that school, is what. I love all the kiddos at the school I work at now, but they know that I come down like the hand of God on bullies and backtalk. Hmmph! (contemplates a move to Ireland :) )

Oh yes Elmo, we are well snowed in now. We will be housebound until at least Monday, possibly longer. Yesterday I bundled up DS and we trudged out the driveway to pick up the pieces of our mailbox (victim of a snowplow) but it was not recoverable, so I guess the positive side is I won't be receiving any more bills in the post until we can get out to town to buy a new box!
