Had the Hotel Chocolat one that is like a giant slab of heaven with chunks of honeycomb and florentine embedded in it. Went out for the evening and my boyfriend ate it. Sorry did I say boyfriend? I meant EX boyfriend :o

Yes, for some reason it has taken me numerous decades to realise that I can easily recreate the potato & dippy wonder in my own kitchen. Very happy about this.

SO jealous of the slab situation (and, as a CSI viewer, it's not often that I say that).

Am now hugely looking forward to diving into the slabs tomorrow, with such high recommendation. As I am on a stupid diet, though, will have to make like Charlie Bucket and eat a tiny morsel every day ...

Pish tush. Everyone knows that you will not put on, say, a stone if you eat your bodyweight in chocolate in one day. Better to get it over with while your metabolism has the element of surprise, before it learns to expect the chocolate and prepare your transforming-delicious-food-to-new-bigger-and-better-CJ cells for work.

Mine..Option A:If I'd admitted who I really was who can tell what would have happened,with the country as it is now...
Option B: I had to explain the children suddenly coming to live with me somehow...
Option C: We were definitely not BU to burn the house,given that its owner had died following the Man of Blood....(Actually,burning the house may have been an accident - I can't quite remember as I hated fires as a child and fast forwarded past that bit! )

Slab was pretty good, actually, but a teeny bit disappointing. Doesn't mean I didn't finish it though ...

I'm still here. But a bit confused about what's still going, and what' abandoned etc? Can we have a bit of a summary? So, if you're doing a book, post the clues so far in one post?

As far as I know (which isn't far, clearly), Pogle's is the only one still going and I haven't the faintest clue on it.
