Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Glad to hear that AF, you have a great name!

teaandcakeplease · 04/10/2010 11:14

Sassy mess be warned it's getting big now, took me 50 mins to read it last night from start to finish. Didn't post though as although I had been on a few of the same threads as her, I'm not sure about any of it, or what's true or not here Confused

Good evening everyone Smile

I read through that thread yesterday still not sure what to make of it tbh , Feel very Sad for everyone on the bereavement thread if sassy really is a troll .

AnyFucker · 04/10/2010 21:09

it is fast-approaching the 1000 posts cut-off point

CheerfulYank · 04/10/2010 22:01

Wow! I'm not sure what's happening there but it sounds crazy...

Did everyone have a good weekend? My SIL and BIL and my brother and DH and I spent all weekend on the house. I'm ridiculously sore today (how out of shape am I?!) but we're finally getting somewhere so that's good.

CheerfulYank · 05/10/2010 01:28

Forgot to mention that I had an awesome day because I was so tired...the stressful nature of my job this year melted under the haze of exhaustion. :o Also, I sniggered like a 12 year old boy when the teacher said, "Okay, so I'll just put the big one in my box," during class today. (She was seperating tiles to talk about addition and subtraction) Blush

elmofan · 05/10/2010 15:28

lol cheerful ya big kid Grin

I have spent most of my day so far looking at paint & carpets to redecorate my hall , stairs & landing before christmas . poor dh is gone into work tired out Wink .

Evening all! :) Busy times here, been missing the bench!

Tea how can we see your new cut? Swishy sounds nice.

Elmo paint chips are evil (as are fabric swatches). I am completely unable to envision a space from those tiny samples. What colours are you doing?

Hope you got some rest Cheerful. That way, way overtired feeling does somehow make it easier to just let the stressful things go doesn't it? Probably not a long term plan though, lol! "ah something's on fire, ah well, no worries, will get to it later..." Grin

Ou est Tiredmum?

teaandcakeplease · 06/10/2010 15:39

I put a pic on my mumsnet profile for fun Smile

Tiredmumno1 · 06/10/2010 16:21

Here i am gomummy Grin how ya doin?

great piccy tea, very swishy Grin, hope you are alright.

gomummy · 06/10/2010 17:13

Nice look Tea! :) New haircut is such a pick-me-up isn't it? Maybe it's just me, lol!

Good here Tiredmum, except for the slush-like substance falling from the sky, lol. I keep telling DS it is only rain, but if it drops a couple of degrees...oh dear...I am not ready for that yet! How are you feeling? How's the bump?

teaandcakeplease · 06/10/2010 18:43

Why thank you, of course today having styled it myself it doesn't look quite as good Sad But it is a pick me up isn't it.

Yes how's your lovely bump Tiredmum?

Can't believe you've got sleet GoMummy already. At least your Christmas is a proper Christmas unlike ours here. Wish it would snow for Christmas it would be fab.

AnyFucker · 06/10/2010 19:18

tea, I have never looked at your profile before

your kids are gorgeous and so are you

I never had you down as a blondie Smile

Tiredmumno1 · 06/10/2010 19:26

Oh gomummy i really feel for you, i hope it does not drop in temp for a while.

tea noooo, dont pray for snow, i have had enough of the stuff Smile

AF what colour hair do you think i have? Smile

myself and bump are fine, bit tired but ok other than that

teaandcakeplease · 06/10/2010 19:37

I'm a dark mousey blonde AF, my hair is a nice n easy no. 100 right now. LOL however I'm actually growing the colour out right now as I'm fed up of dying it. I began dying it to try and make myself more attractive to my hubby in Feb 2009 but it was a wasted effort as the affair had already begun but I didn't realise. Now of course I keep having to dye it again to hide the roots and wish I hadn't done it in the first place as the block colour isn't as subtle as highlights.

Wow what an essay! All about my silly hair!

teaandcakeplease · 06/10/2010 19:41

Have you had a scan yet Tiredmum, I'd love to see a scan pic.

I'm not praying for snow Tiredmum Smile be perfect if it came on Christmas morning and melted the following day though [in my dreams emoticon]

AnyFucker · 06/10/2010 19:44

your hair looks nice, IMO

AnyFucker · 06/10/2010 19:44

I always notice hair, since mine is especially crap

teaandcakeplease · 06/10/2010 19:46

Everyone dislikes their own hair generally. I bet your hair is lovely AF. Is it curly? I love curly hair.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 06/10/2010 19:56

no, honestly, it is crap

I have some good points, hair is not one of 'em Smile

mousey (not even mousey blonde), kinked in stoopid places, bushy in stoopid places and grows out of a hairstyle in about 2 hours Angry

AnyFucker · 06/10/2010 19:56

I have a fabulous arse though Wink

teaandcakeplease · 06/10/2010 20:15

I've just been on the style and beauty thread as I need a coat for Winter. Good Lord these women have bottomless purses! Talking about the NF parka which is £229! Or the Wakefield which is less but still silly money! Yikes I live in Asda, Evans usually or maybe Dorothy Perkins clothes.

AF I love your elusiveness about how you look Wink Of course you have a fine arse Grin
