The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Aww you two put me to shame every time as my two watch far too much CBeebies. Just put them both to bed and was getting very tetchy towards the end. As DS has taken to pulling his bedsheets up on his mattress repeatedly. Grrr

Ive just had to chase the pup around the garden to get my washing back - he pulled down 2 sheets & ds's school uniform into the muck arghhhh .

Mmmm, flapjacks, thanks Tea! :) I had similar and have been using those little clips that go under the mattress to hold the sheets tightly...if he can't do it fairly easily he seems to not bother to try to pull them off. Maybe worth a try?

Argh Elmo, having to wash your laundry twice, no fun! It's a tradeoff as I need a massive ladder whenever my laundry gets tangled on the line...I insisted that it be really high so that the neighbor's dog couldn't get it, but now it is a pain when I need to reach something!

Aw Tiredmum, hope you can put your feet up and maybe have a nice warm bubble bath?

Trying to type quietly as my little girl is in my bed sleeping, which is where my PC is. She really wanted to sleep in my bed and I gave in for once. As her brother has been waking her at 6am everyday for weeks and I figured she'd sleep through it all and have a well deserved lie in, if she's in my room. Now's she's 3 and a quarter she's happy to be awake all day but she needs her 12 hrs of sleep at night, bless her.

Mm, choc and flapjacks! I just found out what flapjacks were a few weeks ago if you can believe that; here they're pancakes. :) Lovely Sidge sent me some golden syrup (we don't have it in america I guess?) and I made some last week. Deeeelish!

Elmo we are doing pizza tonight too...it's Friday, what more can be asked of us really?!

Golden syrup? Curious. We of course live in the land of maple syrup, I didn't know there was an alternative version? You must educate me about this Cheerful! (Oh and they're both pancakes and flapjacks here, just to confuse things, lol!) :)

Me too Tea, and it's only late afternoon here! Worked so hard this weekend, every muscle in my body aches, but we are almost ready for winter, thankfully. I am now making a big roast dinner with all the trimmings and warming up by the fire as I am chilled to the bone.

If I may ask, what is going on across the pond? I have just read that we have a travel advisory for European countries? Apparently the US has issued similar?

No idea about news, have you been on the bbc news website?
