All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Hello scurry, math etc!

I raided the attic at my mums today and retrieved all the old playmobil, cindy's etc from my childhood. Even found my old very bedraggled blanket. Lots of fun, DD will now have lots of stuff to play with, all for free, which also has nostalgic value! Yay!

Mum sent me home with her home made lasagne, so I'm about to scoff some. Anyone like a slice? GoMummy do you have any salad or side dishes to go with it? How's the snow in Canada now?

Oh Tea, yay for your mom keeping all of your stuff! And yay for DD! :) My parents did keep ours for about 25 years but tossed it all when they divorced & moved. Grr.

Snow here depends on where you are in Canada, we have only a thin layer where I am and have been very grateful that is staying relatively warm (-8 today).

HA Tea I DO have a perfect side dish (preparing dinner right atm!) for your lasagne! I make this caesar salad that I top with a variety of mushrooms sauteed in garlic and butter. Probably sounds odd but it is tasty! (Though you definitely want everyone to eat it, iykwim!) DS is currently crumbling the bacon for the salad and it should be ready shortly. :) In return I would happily try a piece of your mom's lasagne, it is my favourite food!

A haribo is a jelly sweet and it is fluffy because it's been in my pocket, lol.

Ah, thank you. Then it would be fairly similar to the dried apple slice I encountered earlier, which was sporting a lovely rust-coloured wool coat.

It was lovely. DCs driving me bonkers today. Cabin fever I think. I should have wrapped them up and taken them out for a walk or something, I've realised in hindsight, as they've caused mayhem all afternoon being stuck indoors

Sympathy to you Tea, I cannot imagine cabin fever with more than one! When DS is like that I blow up a balloon, draw on a face, which is for some reason the most hilarious thing on earth to him. Sounds silly but I keep a package just for those occasions. He goes wild running around and bouncing it off things and generally wears himself out, without doing too much damage to my home!
