I'll start. I work in research. Lone parent. Rent. Minimal savings (think under 1k). I'm an 'emergent service worker' - never heard of this before!

Apparently I'm established middle class, comfortably off and enjoy a wide range of activities. Hahaha! I wish!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 11/11/2022 11:56

Middle class
id probably say that’s right- lower middle class

Sunbird24 · 11/11/2022 11:56

Technical Middle Class 🤷🏻‍♀️

emmathedilemma · 11/11/2022 11:56

Elite which is not where I would have put myself! I wasn't sure if to include my pension pot in the savings amount but it wouldn't change it.
Must listen to more hiphop ;)

loobylou10 · 11/11/2022 11:57

Elite! I'm really not

Sprogonthetyne · 11/11/2022 11:57

Traditional working class aparently

PeloFondo · 11/11/2022 11:57

New affluent worker Confused

IamSmarticus · 11/11/2022 11:58

What a load of tosh - apparently I'm Technical Middle Class:

People in this group tend to mix socially with people similar to themselves Don't we all?
They prefer emerging culture, such as using social media, to highbrow culture such as listening to classical music NOPE - I prefer rock or indie music
Many people in this group work in research, science and technical occupations NOPE - I'm an office administrator
They tend to live in suburban locations, often in the south east of England NOPE - tiny terraced in inner city West Midlands
They come from largely middle class backgrounds NOPE - definitely not!

ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler · 11/11/2022 11:58

Technical middle class - crazy as I consider myself working class through and through

ShadowPuppets · 11/11/2022 11:58

Elite. I’m really not - we have a decent household income but in the SE where it doesn’t go far, we’re squarely middle class.

ofwarren · 11/11/2022 11:58

Precariat.
Sounds about right.

What class are you according to this?
HeathenPlayingHouse · 11/11/2022 11:59

New affluent worker, that's a new one to me.

Pinkandpurplehairedlady · 11/11/2022 11:59

Precariat - the poorest and most deprived group apparently. That’s really cheered me up - not.

DenholmElliot11 · 11/11/2022 12:00

Elite - mainly because of my pension I suspect.

ARoastPotato · 11/11/2022 12:00

Elite. Which made me laugh.

PicturesOfDogs · 11/11/2022 12:00

Elite. I’m absolutely NOT!

DowntonCrabby · 11/11/2022 12:00

Established middle class- nope, quite solidly and happily WC thanks!

FleecyBlanketPerson · 11/11/2022 12:01

Technical middle class. Must work out what this means 😂

ApolloandDaphne · 11/11/2022 12:01

Elite! Haha

pompomdaisy · 11/11/2022 12:01

Technical middle class. It's a daft test though tbh!

Rowgtfc72 · 11/11/2022 12:01

Middle class?
I pack fishfingers.

ImPickleRickSpartacus · 11/11/2022 12:02

Don't need to take it to know I'm an oik. 🤷‍♀️

I'm sure everyone else on here is an elite but will be falling over themselves to let us know they're really humble about it and drive a banger and have threadbare clothes covered in Labrador hair.

StirredNotShaken00 · 11/11/2022 12:02

Technical middle class- how do you get to be elite?!

pompomdaisy · 11/11/2022 12:02

I didn't put my pension savings in though.

CaronPoivre · 11/11/2022 12:02

Elite - but we aren't.
