Israel has the right to exist. Israel has an absolute right to self defence. It's a lot like Ukraine defending themselves against Russia.

Ed Sheeran is spineless. This isn't about antisemitism. If it was Kraft wouldn't have had Kanye playing his stadium. It's about shutting down criticism of Israel. As Netanyahu himself said “Israel does not have a more loyal friend than Robert Kraft.”

What is the point in having 100s of millions if you still have to sell your morals to a billionaire friend of Epstein. Sheeran could do with learning from his band and all of his support acts who all recognise that silencing people because they speak out about the killings of 20,000 children is wrong.

Music has always been political. This rapper nobody has the right to use his platform. Ed Sheeran has the right to not feel passionate enough to have a strong view (let's face it, that's where he is really, he has spent 99% of his life jamming on a guitar), Robert Kraft has a right to not allow someone he disagrees with to perform at the place he owns. The chips fall where they may. But my opinion is this: diplomacy and peace rely on meeting in the middle and not partisan politics. And it also relies heavily on the Americans and English sticking their noses out of other people's business and letting the middle East work it out.

A genocide is going door to door and executing everyone they find, like October 7th.

That isn't whats happening. The charge of genocide is political, as evidenced by the history of how it has been used to attack Jews.

Ever since the word was created it has been used as a political tool attack Jews (before modern Israel was founded) many of whom had survived the Holocaust or the violent expulsions across the Middle East, and has been continuously used since, including before Israel responded to Hamas' attack (i.e. Israel was attacked and people accused it of genocide).

Every expert or report that has levied the charge has done so without demomstrating how the legal parametres have been met, changed the definition, or cited claims later proven to be false. That is why people say it is not a genocide, because the people that do cannot back their claims with a factual argument.

You can be horrified by innocent civilians being killed and hurt without politicising their suffering.

That's because what he did was anti-semitism.

People used to be horrified by it before the masks fell off but we see you all.

On the 19th of December 2023 the IDF went door to door in Gaza City and pulled out the occupants . They ordered them to bend down and executed 19 men that day outside their houses.
They also killed a 3 year old and stripped the women.

If your benchmark is that of a genocide then the above also qualifies.

I do not understand how you can be so flippant about the word genocide.

A core part of it is about intent. Hamas declared (and continues to declare) that its intent is to destroy Israel and murder all Jews. Some Israeli politicians have said awful things too, but crucially it is not policy and they are not in control of the IDF.
