If it was from 12 years ago by someone who had grown and changed then yes. I'm not going to hold grudges against people who make the effort to change or I would just be an awfully bitter person.

Ed Sheeran has spoken up about politics on many occasions before including supporting Ukraine, Keir Starmer etc. He just doesn’t want to do it this time, when it involves a genocide, because this time it’ll personally cost him something. It’s easy to stand up for your beliefs when there’s nothing at risk. It’s when he faces the wrath of Billionaire Zionist friend of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Robert Kraft, that he chooses to sit on the fence, and in doing so is siding with the oppressor, Israel.

I hate this entire story. No idea why Ed Sheeran couldn’t see this coming. No idea why he’s entrenched with pedophile thieves. No idea why anyone would wear a hooked nose curly haired costume and think it could be interpreted in literally any other way. No idea where one even buys such a thing. The entire story is exhausting and ridiculous.

I am Jewish and some of my friends who are also Jewish were at the concert in New Jersey. They were frightened and their children were crying and they had to leave. The free Palestine chanting was combined with some other awful chants from the people around them. I would have had to leave too but actually would never have been there as anyone could have predicted this. I don’t actually understand why it’s all being cancelled - they should just have let people get refunds if they wanted to avoid this and it would have been a non story.

Thing is Ed picked Macklemore who is renowned for his stance and Beoga who were the founding members of Irish Artists for Palestine movement so surely he must have foresaw this in some way.

All I see is him saying Jews are okay as long as they think the right things. That's a well known deflection tactic and I don't know anyone Jewish that believes it isn't rooted in antisemitism.

It’s not a contest. Obviously there are many, many things that are worse than missing a stupid concert. It’s just really different in the states - there isn’t the same sort of endless marches and flags and graffiti we have here in the UK. She was genuinely surprised whereas I am (almost) used to it now.

I still maintain Ed Sheeran is entirely to blame here. Either he shouldn’t have hired him or he should have stood by him. This wishy washy nonsense is the worst of all options.

Nobody is ignoring that. It was a horrific act of terrorism that has rightly made headlines and sparked documentaries and a TV show as well as heartfelt commemerations.

There were no children crying at an ed sheeran concert, no one under the age of 30 goes to one of those.

Macklemore was absolutely wrong for the 2014 thing. He was absolutely right about the Palestine thing.

He also has not jumped on a bandwagon he has been saying it for years, Sheeran is his friend for years he knows Macklemores political leanings.

It isnt anti semitic to say what the Israeli government is doing is wrong. Your religion is not tied to your government.
