quite frankly I’m sick and tired of artists using concerts etc as some political forum

I just don't understand the cult of Gaza and how it's became the ultimate trend for the bored middle classes. This pretence that artists who support Gaza are 'so brave' is just ridiculous. They are clearly just jumping on the fashionable band wagon. And don't get me started on the Queers for Palestine!!

Oh it’s ridiculous, totally agree, trendy people shouting free Palestine , most would be locked up if they dared to live there, see how free it is then.

Gay people punishable by death, non existent woman’s rights but let’s all shout about making
it “ free”
Instead what they should be shouting about is freeing it from Hamas.

Wonder who 'We' is in this context. Kind of frightening.

There were some pro-Palestinian students protesting outside my workplace last year (I work at a Uni) and they were asking people to sign a petition to 'keep Zionists out of the University'. I obviously said no thank you and then they ASKED MY NAME so I could be added to some list they were keeping of refusals? No thanks. Kind of horrifying to think what that list would be for really.
