There are a lot of genocide deniers on here. It’s completely vile. I don’t know how you can be so callous when speaking about the lives of innocent people including many children!

Macklemore is entitled to an opinion, and he's entitled to voice that. I think using someone else's platform to do it is entirely out of line, though. He's a support act; this isn't his concert or his audience; it's Ed Sheeran's. If Ed Sheeran has decided not to take a position on this issue, that is entirely his right, and Macklemore is a twat for derailing that. He deserves to be dropped for creating this shitstorm for Ed Sheeran, and frankly, I don't expect many artists will give him the chance to share their platform again; he's proved to be a total liability.

I have more of an issue with terrorists attacking a music venue (festival) to be honest

I actually just looked up the artists after @ColadhSamh (great name) mentioned them and it was heartening to see artists who have put their beliefs in front of a such a massive professional opportunity for them

Anyone who says music shouldn’t be political is being disingenuous. They just don’t like what Macklemore has said. Music is one of the strongest political tools there is and it has always been used to spread knowledge and ideas. Macklemore has publicly openly supported Palestine long before this tour. None of his fans were surprised to see this.

I find it sad and honestly disgusting that you think the systematic genocide of women and children is 'political' and shouldn't be spoken about. This isn't about hostages at all and the fact that you think it is means you've been sucked in by Israeli propaganda. Israel are the biggest threat to safety of numerous innocent countries in the Middle East and the more celebrities that speak out about it the better!

As for Pink, remember when she included Israeli “poi flags” in her concert and when she was challenged tried to claim they were some obscure part of New Zealand culture?

So many people and almost the entirety of media coverage have ignored Kraft - prostitution, human trafficking, Epstien files, not to mention his cosy relationship with Nethenayu responsible for the murder of thousands of people a huge number
of children.

Not hard to work out which of them is the most dangerous and evil.
