Yup. Even taking arguments against Israel at absolute highest, if you only care about things done by the one Jewish state in the world then you're applying special Jew rules. There's a name for that.

That said, Ed Sheeran has come out of this looking a complete tit. He clearly had no problem choosing as a support act and apparently being friends with someone who thought it was acceptable to dress up like something that would make Goebbels blush. Then Macklemore did exactly what he was always likely to do, and this suddenly becomes a problem. It's total cowardice and stupidity.

💯 My favourite are the 'queers for Palestine' lot. There are actually many paralells between the trans cult and the free Palestine movement. Both rely heavily on denial of reality: one of science, the other of history.

Of course people are allowed to do whatever they want. But I don’t think any queer people would enjoy the result if Hamas wins and the Middle East block of horrifying governments turns its attention to the rest of the world. Am sure my mum, as a Jewish lesbian, would not enjoy that at all.

What’s the point talking semantics over whether they would throw someone off a roof who didn’t conform to their expectations. Maybe torture/executions are ok as long as there’s no throwing off roofs?

Just as a follow up to this Hamas never threw anybody gay off a roof. An X user posted a video from ISIS and said it was Palestine.it was spread widely then by pro Israel accounts.
Just shows how propaganda can become mainstream and then people like the poster believe it and continue the narrative.

Probably not. I wasn't arguing against that I was discussing the spreading of propaganda which is patently untrue .
However I think the most dangerous thing to be in Palestine is Palestinian . If around 4% of the population are gay that means nearly 3000 people who happen to be gay have been murdered by Israel.

And the reason why they are so unsafe is not only down to the current Israeli government they are governed by cruel leaders who have no interest in peace and what is best for their people and Hamas never have its not so simple as Israel is to blame

I’ve never understood the ridicule of Queers for Palestine either. They are campaigning to stop the slaughter and genocide of Palestinians, not because they want to live under Palestinian rule or take on Palestinian culture.

By the logic of people mocking Queers for Palestine, anyone who supports the Palestinians must want to live under Islamic rule. Guess what? We don’t. We just want the genocide to stop.

It’s not complicated. You don’t need to want to live according to someone’s culture and religion to not want them killed. Is that difficult to grasp?

Israel didn't "murder" anyone, these were collateral war casualties.

Only an international court can decide. That is what even the UN acknowledge and the ruling will not be made for several years probably on whether Israel has committed a genocide or not.

In the meantime it’s opinion only, not legal fact.
