Oh, I’m not saying that was the reason alone - I think it was a combination along with the nature of the offence, the risk of public disorder, the previous conviction, the risk of reoffending.

And I forgot to say that he also didn’t disclose his phone PIN to police which is covered under specific bits of the law. Honestly, I think he’s going to get a terrorism charge or something because that was their pants excuse for one of the situations with Tommy Robinson.

I’m kind of neutral on Tommy Robinson but he had one court appearance that was literally a case of being tried for the crime of “ driving while Tommy Robinson”!!

When you step away from this stuff for a while, coming back into it is really quite disturbing in the “ living in a simulation” sense. You get the impression that it’s all theatre. And you wonder who’s paying for it.

I don’t know… I don’t mean to sound like a crazy person, but things have reached a point in this country - and probably other countries - where the general direction of things just feels like it can’t be organic.

Nooo did they? I’m missing a few on here atm but not sure if it’s n/c due that AI creepiness or had enough.

Here 'they' are again, monitoring this thread for Lucky's posts trying to get her banned.

I'll probably get deleted for saying that but I'm past caring. If MN want this site to be just for left wingers, they should say so and we can all go elsewhere.

I've had a warning from HQ for a post I made here and saying they've had a lot of complaints about me! It's really really fucked me off so I've taken action. It's bullying - end of.

Believe me name changing doesn't work either. They come after me anyway. I'd thought I'd broken through the Newbie time frame. I don't know anybody in my life who behaves the way treatment is dished out on here. So I posted that I wouldn't discuss the Thomas arrest anywhere else on the forum because you wont get a reasoned debate because of name calling. Within a minute it was gone with a warning from HQ and saying thus isn't the first time they'd received complaints. The conversations I have seen, including goading and badgering on the site stuff hate thread (!!) Left to stand. Posters sneering about how many times I post and with what frequency - left to stand. Actually listing the amount of posts I'd made a thread and how long I'd been on here - left to stand. Saying I'm surprised you're still here - left to stand. It's easier for the site to keep deleting new posters so the culprits can carry on. Sorry for the rant. It's not the place to be putting this. So I'm going to see what happens with my post on site stuff. Even when I'm banned I'm going to be chasing MN up about my emails reporting all this. They aren't sticking to their own guidelines

There definitely a group of posters who co-ordinate their posts between themselves. All very passive aggressive.

I find that once they recognise your name it doesn’t really matter what you post, they will take offence.

Second poster - Have you considered that not everyone has access to blue skies and so can’t enjoy it. You are privileged and you have to pay more tax for having blue sky where you are.

Disgraceful and good for you. I have seen some of the posts directed at you on other threads and admire your restraint, better than I would be.

It’s painful isn’t it. I’m actually getting bored of Mumsnet now, the same posters just shut down any debate time after time. They are absolutely the minority though.
