Yes it was a particular dress that she wore from that boutique that went viral. Can't remember the name now though, but I had a mooch on their website and they had some gorgeous pieces.

Couldn't agree more. I was also a bit jealous as I was looking whilst sat at work in my trusty bobbled cardigan and steel toe cap boots. Need to up my game. 😂

I was on that thread had a post deleted for mentioning trolling. I've asked them to let me have a copy of the deleted post because I never said that and never even thought it. I didn't even get into the dubious politics being debated. I'm baffled

I agree. For me, it has been penalising the disabled with the pip car VAT fiasco like that's solving anything. The delays to pip and DLA are at an all time high. Yet, scrapping the two child limit in itself costs a ridiculous amount when people can choose to procreate, they can't choose to have a disability. 30hrs childcare implementation has been revolutionary to getting back to work after having dc. The only thing that labour have done for me is not financial but on a legal level which is having some meetings about the epidemic of VAWG and removing the assumption of parental involvement that Cameron implemented in the first place and Johnson did f all about after the Harm Panel report but it doesn't surprise me with his gazillion children. Anyway, Labour are making the right noises in equality but it feels performative, would love Kemi to be in to actually make strides for equity but we will see. I like Kemi, I think a strong black woman is exactly what this party needs to be taken into the 21st Century.

On that thread I had two posters telling me I'd had loads of comments deleted for being racist. They are still at it now on another thread. Bully and railroad are the tactics hoping you're weak enough to give up. I've given up on knowing what is and isn't acceptable to post.

I often find the creative sector is worth a lot more than people realise. Fashion contributes a lot to the economy and also film…. I’m particularly thinking of Framestore, a huge British success story and one of the big four in VFX. If she’s actually recognised the economic value, I am pleased. It doesn’t seem like something politicians mention very much - but I spent years not paying attention to politics so maybe they do? I vaguely recall Ed Vaizey talking about it.

Now she's interested in border security, but for all the wrong reasons.

We were involved in a couple Hollywood movies for a few months through our business. Mother of god they work hard, crazy hours. We gave our home number out of hours. The phone rang at 3am. They'd been let down by a supplier. Could we supply xyz, and deliver it on set in Harlech in the next two hours. DH woke DS up and off they went stopping to load up a couple of vehicles. They made it by the skin of their teeth. Wales does make very good money out of the film and TV industry plus we get a huge tourist plug.

Yes it’s great. I think she can go from creative to finance type stuff and other, including the importance of soft power for Britain.

OH it is rude and hilariously inaccurate. I haven't worn a mask since the madness of COVID at the beginning and never will again. Played hell with my asthma.
