Generally we've settled down into where we are. My year was the first to be exclusively taught in metric, and my memory of old money is from picking up the discussions when we went decimal (quite odd that I sometimes have to tell people older than me what a sixpence being half a shilling meant).

So it's stones for weight, feet'n' inches for height, and metric for the rest with the exception of miles and pints.

Having had a sting in metrology (one of mankinds earliest sciences 😀) it's a shame the UK didn't take up metrication back in 1897 when it was proposed. Mainly in order to catch out the permadim who would persist in thinking it was somehow "new" in the 1970s.

Today, I am mainly grumpy.😠

Love Criminal Minds. I also really liked the first series of Homeland. It went downhill after that.

I hope so too. I mean, the man had a massive and valuable career serving the British public, then was an MP for 11 years. Comparing him to you-know-who is pretty pathetic.

International affairs is a good fit for him, he received a lot of praise from foreign leaders.

Burnham mentioned Brexit as a destabilising and destructive force to British economy in Parliament today. Absolutely fantastic to say that. Finally 😄
