for example I can remember my great granny, she was born in 1879 and died at 98

but we had lodgers for a while whilst I was growing up and the one lady's born in 1868, always wore a hat to go out, never went out without one.

Great Grandmother born in 1890s. She died when I was a child.

We incorporated a great Uncle into our family (he was the Uncle of my bio aunt's husband) and he came to all our family events. He must have been born in the 1890s too he fought in WW1 and hadn't lied about his age. He probably died about the same time as my Great Grandmother.

I oncexmet a woman in our village who woukd hsve been born in either 1865 or 66.

My grandparents were 1875-1949, 1878-1930, 1889-1969 and 1892-1986. I knew the last two.

Just before I started researching my family history in 1986, my grandmother's aunt died. She had been born in the early 1880s.

I have seen a program on YouTube about the earliest born people to have their photograph taken. A few centurions were photographed in the 1840s. These people were born in the 1740s. Obviously, it is hard to verify their exact age as records weren't always kept. They look as if they could have been 100 years old.

My great-grandmother. Born 1859. She was a very old lady in her 90s when I met her. I was about 2 weeks old but I did meet her and I have a photograph to prove it.

My grandma was born in 1910 so I'm guessing her dad was born between 1880 and 1890. I was born in 1975 and I know I spent some time with him when I was little.

My grandfather would've been born around 1905.

I have a neighbour who is 111 now, so born 1915. She still lives at home in her daughter's annex, having moved there in her 80s. Her daughter must be rising 80 herself now!

Our next door neighbour when I was a child, always known to me as Aunty Mil. Born in 1885 and died at the grand age of 102.

My sister's grand mother in law. Died late 70s and was 92. For dh his great grand ma. Died early 60s and was in her 80s.

I think your typo makes you a few centuries out!

She didn't allow women to her funeral. I don't remember what else she did that was old fashioned.
I met my great grandfather too. I think he would have been born around 1890. He died when I was small and the only thing I remember is how formal he always dressed.

You can find videos on youtube of people being interviewed in the 70s and 80s who were born in the 19th century. They are quite interesting.

My Great Grandfather was born in December 1883, he was 99 when he died in 1981. I was 19, so he was around for all of my childhood.

My great aunt, who I knew reasonably well as a child. She was born in 1899, so towards the end of Queen Victoria's reign, which I find quite extraordinary to think of.

The next oldest as far as I can recall would have been her younger sister, my own maternal grandma, who was born in 1904 (and therefore was under the reign of King Edward VII).

My grandads mother, not 100% sure on year of birth, my grandad was born 1947 so I’m gonna assume she was around 1920’s. I remember visiting her as a child, she died when I was 15.
