Price rises not coming down, cost of living gone mad, car crashes, heatwave after heat wave, wild fires.
NHS is falling, NHS dentist is like winning the loto, threats from russia.
Bills cost more than anything.
Benefit bill is out of control.
People getting attacked.

I may have missed a few things, but it feels like the UK is just building up to something big gonna kick off.
Im sure it won't but life is just crap right now.
Not to mention we are gonna get a hell of a winter with this EL nion predicted.

I feel like saying lets have a full war and end this crap then re start again( figure of speech), not living just surviving.
And the cost of being a parent now is unreal.

I am frightened that having an nhs dentist is now seen as extremely good luck, I have one myself, but god, what a scary indicator of what this country has become
The national debt is out of control and to not admit otherwise is truly astounding
Also, mass immigration, will have a destabilising effect if it is not kept in check,

As a woman or a parent with daughters it is just to be concerned about the ideologies this country is allowing to infiltrate its land. Wake up and watch such changes - think how this might look in the future? I am particularly worried about this and hope we have the strength to do something in time to stop it. This is not happening with such a weak government and monarchy as we have now.

It doesn't matter if the figures are slightly down on last year, the thing you need to look at is the absolute fact that illegal immigrants are continuing to come to our Country. They're not going to stop, and our so called Government aren't doing anything about it.
How many of these illegal immigrants are being deported? I'll answer for you, hardly any.
Does it not seriously concern you that the people continuosly coming to our shores are men? IF they are really genuinely seeking asylum, and fleeing from war torn Countries, why aren't they bringing their wives and children with them?

Does it not concern you that even the Government are admitting that these men don't have any morals? They've even published a leaflet telling them that it's wrong to rape women and children! FFS, if you're not worried about this, and just think 'oh well the numbers are down a bit on last year's, you honestly need to wake up to the fact society in this Country is becoming more and more dangerous by the day,in part, thanks to the influx of men who have no regard for the people here, our culture or our way of life.
They've no wish to integrate with us, they are here simply for the free hand outs, and to eradicate the way we live.

Diversity/Multi-cultural bias has led to a situation where working class white boys achieve the worst educational results of any ethnicity (by the way these boys are a minority now in parts of the UK).

Police guidelines now tell policemen to give greater weight to the evidence provided by someone from a minority background than a white background in order to equaliser judicial outcomes. Basically the police are told to treat people differently based on ethnicity and prioritize non white people. Google this, it's absolutely insane but happening now.

In the 1990s, we had a surplus of council housing in parts of the country, too many schools. We have added 30m to the population due to immigration and don't have the housing or infrastructure capacity cope.

Training our own people to work in the NHS totally removes any argument for vast numbers of foreign NHS workers.

The current government actually seem to have a grip on immigration for the first time since 1997.

The big difference now which is also a new issue is the changing demographics which cannot support the NHS & state pension model.

Yet they spend money we don’t have on things that most people don’t want, like HS2, increasing foreign aid, etc.

They are absolutely going in debt to go on holiday, engaging in shopping hauls, having expensive tech,coffees, takeaways, eating out etc. Oh and our local pub was so rammed people were outside when I walked past it yesterday . All things previous generations didn’t do, yet they want a decent NHS, pensions and social care for an aging population without a rise in taxes. Can’t have it all and people are coming to their senses and realising this, like they did with Brexit.

Agreed. And we would fit this bubble compared to a lot of people but are luckily bit older. You only need to have a look around the car parks at the nice restaurants and m&s food hall & think no col here. Id caveat that it has affected middle classes too. Appreciate how lucky we are before flamed down & also having to work very long hours in pressured jobs seriously affecting health now, but gym membership gone from luxury to council, waitrose to lidl, Netflix cancelled, only eat out birthdays and think very hard before buy a coffee & holiday to much cheaper destination and 1 week not 2 has been seriously budgeted for. Could never afford a bit of cleaning help anymore etc Again lucky still have all we got just trying to point out that whilst can still live ok the middle classes have had a serious cut in lifestyle too and the direct effect is job losses in hospitality and retail industries because we cant buy the products, charity donations etc. I literally feel so sad for my younger colleagues who can only live in small flat and have 1 child with both working full time long hours in good jobs to have that quality of life. This is why there is so much backlash against benefit claimants with 3 kids in an atcual house with garden its like working hard is really not paying, 25 years ago these same colleagues would have a small house 2 kids and 1 parent working part time & a holiday, there will slways be uber rich thats not comparable. Our kids will not have what we managed to enjoy ever again.
As for the nail bars this is lipstick effect they are still going as cheap pick me up rather than holiday night out cinema etc.

I think a lot of it is exactly what you say @Purpl the quality of most people’s lives have changed for the worse. We work as hard if not harder and the things we used to have are no longer obtainable- the foreign holidays, the new cars, the meals out, the weekends away.

There was also a perception that people who were not working could only afford a basic lifestyle but now those working can’t afford luxuries it sticks in their throats seeing people not working and having a better lifestyle.

And nowhere near enough has been done about climate change so we’ve got that to contend with too. Couple all that with the media telling us about immigrants, threats of war etc and it results in a very scary feeling.

The benefit bill is not 'out of control' by the way.

Life is more expensive now for the young mainly due to housing costs.
