Why hasn’t Brad Pitt been cancelled?

Why hasn’t Brad Pitt been cancelled? I don’t even really pay attention to celebrity news but I see occasional things that he’s divorced, alcoholic, was abusive to his wife and children, children don’t want his last name, etc. Especially because his ex (Angelina Jolie) seems to be idolised for her beauty and humanitarian work. It’s not like people don’t like her!

Is Brad Pitt just too handsome? What’s the deal?

Its all the tabloid speculation stories in the media about the children coming from his PR who does that to their own children that is why they changed their surnames the moment they became adults.
The incident on the private jet the flight crew are usually very discreet deal with A listers literally discretion is part of it being Private jet but the incident was so bad in their eyes they reported it against AJ wishes.
In all of this she was not the one allowing nasty gossip rags to speculate on her own children because growing under such scrutiny would be vile but Brad allowed his children to be used as tabloid fodder that is how you lose the trust of your own children he fed them to the wolves for the sake of his very carefully crafted public image. Look at who his PR are look at his ‘Charity’ and the company . I believed the Halo effect with the housebuilding until I watched a deep dive into the darker side of BP on Coffee and Cults

Generally speaking, men are not worried about gossip and tittle-tattle, especially when they just want to watch a movie.

This is her statement. Doesn't mean it's not full of lies.

I dislike AJ, I think she's a psychopath, and I'm not convinced that Brad is a bad person.

Here's why:

AJ has been trouble her whole life. She was with an older boyfriend at 14 and was planning to go and live on the streets with him, so her mother let her move him in to keep her safe. Started her fast lifestyle early.

  • She used to do heroin. Heroin! That is some seriously fucked-up shit.
  • She was photographed snogging her brother.
  • She wore a vial of some bloke's blood around her neck.
  • She was on her third marriage while still in her thirties.
  • She helped herself to Jennifer Aniston's husband.
  • She helped herself to Laura Dern's fiance.

Some humanitarian. She's all about caring for other humans as long as you don't have the man she wants. Then you're toast. Amazing how she forgets the humanity of the women whose men she stole.

About Brad:

  • He was investigated by the FBI and not charged. AJ does not have the authority to decide whether he gets charged or not, so the above upthread about AJ's mercy is rubbish. Where children are involved, the authorities make the decision. Brad was later given 50/50 custody of the children, and AJ simply refused to comply. She complied only when threatened with prison by a judge. She is absolutely fucking awful.
  • NONE of Brad Pitt's many previous girlfriends, fiancees, or wives have ever said that he was abusive to them. His current girlfriend, who he's been with for some time now, doesn't seem to have any complaints either.

I'm not denying that Brad lost his temper on that plane. Children can push you to breaking point, and there are six of them, plus AJ refused to ever correct them or discipline them, according to reports from people who have worked for her. No regular bedtimes or anything boring and sensible like that. (By discipline I mean consequences, not physical discipline, before the nutters come for me.) Brad did want to being them up in the normal way, with regular bedtimes and meal times and being made to brush their teeth etc. He said on the plane, apparently, "Mummy is ruining this family!"

I think Brad was pushed to breaking point on that plane by the large amount of uncontrolled children and the fact that AJ would not work with him in instilling routines and consequences.

I do not think that losing his temper like that was OK. Of course it wasn't. But it seems to have been a one-off. AJ has never complained about him being like that at other times.

Since then, he has admitted that he had a problem with alcohol and weed, and he has got help. He has turned life around. But still there is no forgiveness for him, all these years later. One incident, and that's it, he virtually never sees his family again, despite Brad being given 50/50 access. AJ just ignored the court order. She carried out a sustained, textbook campaign of parental alienation, so bad that it's permanent, because of one incident, after which he sought treatment.

Brad Pitt has been around in Hollywood for a very long time, and no one he's ever dated, been engaged or married to, or has worked with, has had bad things to say about him. He made mistakes with drink and weed, and he certainly made a mistake when he lost it on that plane. But I see nothing to indicate that he should be cut off from his children forever more. If AJ was a good person and a good parent, she'd be facilitating their relationship with their dad, like Jennifer Garner does with Ben Affleck, despite his alcohol problems.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense can weigh all this up and see that it's more than likely that AJ, the complete weirdo, is behind all this, not Brad, who's never had problems with anyone but her.

She put her desire to have her children all to herself before their welfare, and as for Brad's pain at virtually never seeing his children again, well, who cares about his feelings, right?

She's a horrible, horrible person.

You have made up a whole defence by assuming it was only one time. I think someone who has/had a problem with alcohol and weed has probably had more than one incident in front of their family. You can’t say it was only once just because it isn’t documented.

MarmaladeorJam · Yesterday 04:55

CrazyMidget · Yesterday 02:39

I'm not sure I believe AJ's plane report. I didn't know she said he was abusive before. Why did she stay with him then? Retrospective allegations don't mean much. And he didn't necessarily go to "abusing" them. You talk as if it was an ongoing thing. The chaos of that kid circus without co-parent support pushed him to breaking point and he lost it. People DO lose their temper sometimes, you know, when they have had enough!

Look, I wasn't there. Maybe I've got it all wrong. But AJ is so dodgy that I find it hard to give credence to what she says.

And as I've said a few times, if he's an abuser, how come none of his large family, his many previous wives, girlfriends, and fiancees, his Hollywood colleagues and film industry folk have ever said a single thing to indicate as such during his four decades in movies? Nothing has ever leaked out, like when hotel staff leak that a star trashed their room or something. Meanwhile, AJ has form for being a complete weirdo, stealing other people's husbands and fiances, and being a heroin addict, among other weirdnesses. Obviously we can't know for sure, but she seems very dark and quite disturbed.

Edited

Look, I wasn't there seems like a reasonable stance but is sits in contradiction with
The chaos of that kid circus without co-parent support pushed him to breaking point and he lost it - which makes it sounds like you were there.

No woman steals a man. I mean, did she tie him up, chuck him in the back of the car and drive him off somewhere?

You condemn her for heroine addiction but pardon him for his addiction.

You condemn her for weirdness - and accept that it is her fault that he did what he did to his young children, in the confined space of a plane for a number of hours.

I don't find Angelina Jolie dark and disturbed, but I do find your misogyny dark and disturbed.

I'm not sure if you mean Pitt's kids or Affleck's. If you mean Pitt's, no, he basically never saw the kids again. They certainly did not live with him. He had to go to court over and over and over to enforce the 50/50 access, and at one point, she broke the rules so much that she was threatened with imprisonment by the judge. He might have had a small bit of access on the odd occasion, but she basically would not comply and kept him in court. As one observer said, it appeared her plan was to run the clock down until they were 18. And I'm sure she told them all sorts of lies about how he didn't want to see them, all while he was fighting tooth and nail to get access to them. She simply would not comply with the court orders, and judges are reluctant to imprison mothers for that, due to the effect on the children.

He had to go to court over and over and over to enforce the 50/50 access, and at one point, she broke the rules so much that she was threatened with imprisonment by the judge.

This statement needs to be backed up. With some respectable evidence.

personally i don't understand why the music of michael jackson is still played or any of those weird drug addicted celebs.
his music should be left to die.
the actions of the addicted shouldn't be glorified for the sake of the younger generation that need inspiration.

The reason his music is still played is that people have learned to separate the person who creates from the created thing. A lot of enormously talented artists who are personally complete arseholes, create stunning literature, music, painting and architecture. I’m not going to stop listening to Delia’s just because the man himself was a jerk.

Let me rewrite this for you...

AJ was abused from the age of 14 and her mother didn't protect her.
She made some messed up decisions (possibly linked to the abuse) including drug use but cleaned herself up.
She wore the blood of a man she loved which is odd and maybe attention seeking but doesnt bother anyone.
She had relationships when she was single with men who weren't. The men couldn't stay faithful to their partners. I doubt AJ blackmailed or forced them to cheat. But as ever, the poor ickle men cant possibly be expected to be responsible for their own actions and say "flattered by I'm married".

On BP
FBI had enough information to investigate it. It's a well known fact that donestic abuse is rarely prosecuted for "normal" people let alone celebrities with good lawyers and a PR team.
AJ felt her children weren't safe so took steps to protect them.
He admitted he had alcohol and drug problems during their relationship. Just like AJ he has cleaned himself up.

Despite being an adult, CHILDREN pushed him so much that he lost his temper and got physical.
AJ and him had different parenting styles.
BP only used violence on AJ and the children once (that we know of) so it's OK.

AG is a doormat.
There are no reports of BA attacking his children despite his alcohol issues so AG supports access, presumably on her terms.

AJ is trying to protect her children from a man who got drunk and/or stoned and attacked them.

Anyone who reads gossip magazines can see that BP has agency and is partially responsible for what is happening.

AJ put her desire to protect her children at the forefront.

racist Mark Wahlberg
domestic abuser Chris Brown

Wow wow wow. I had to lookup mark wahlberg and honestly feel quite surprised.

Mark Wahlberg has a documented history of racially motivated harassment and violent hate crimes committed as a teenager in Boston during the mid-1980s. These incidents involved targeting Black children with racial slurs and rocks, and physically assaulting Vietnamese-American men while yelling racial epithets. 1, 2, 3]

"She had a very privileged childhood as a Hollywood nepo baby. She's never said anything about her childhood being abusive. There's no evidence of this."

She had a very disturbed childhood. I read a biography of hers. The saddest part was up till the age of 1 her mum kept her in a separate bedroom. She had nannies and her mum would come to see her occasionally. Also her mum hated her dad and Jolie had a very messed up relationship with him as a result. From reports of her behaviour she clearly has trauma resulting from her childhood and probably a personality disorder. This is all published. She could have sued for libel if it wasn't true.

(One crazy story is that she hired a hitman to kill her as a suicide attempt!)

At the time of their divorce i was reading a lot of celebrity gossip. I remember that AJ and BP basically had an open relationship. But he went too far and got a co-star pregnant Marion cotillard. God knows if it's true. But we will never know.
