What are your best M&S Food recommendations to try?

There’s a thread going about must-buy foods from Waitrose and I have enjoyed trying all the delicious recommendations!

I thought I would start a similar one for M&S Food, as I’m sure I’m missing out on lots of good stuff.

My contribution: the Somerset butter with maple syrup in. It’s absolute heaven on a toasted bagel!

Limited edition spicy buffalo coleslaw! Honestly it’s nicer than it sounds!

Smokehouse tomato ketchup. I don’t use much ketchup usually but it’s lovely.

This sounds amazing! One of my new favourites from the Waitrose thread is their coffee shortbread so this sounds right up my street!

The M and S ‘Best ever lasagne’ - it’s lovely, restaurant quality.

Sweet and salty rice cakes (I have with peanut butter in yum yum)

I've just bought some of their new chocolate cappuccino teacakes- amazing!
They also do a new limited edition lemon raspberry cake- it is divine, I'm eating a slice right now.

Also love their New York deli dip- full of mustard, gherkins, cheese and pastrami.

I've always loved their dinky melton mowbray pork pies and dinky honey mustard sausages. Their butter chicken is amazing too.

Their combo mix crisps and pitta bread crisps. Their best ever chocolate eclairs are to die for. Their sultana cookies, triple chocolate crunch cereal. Their fresh cream Victoria sponge is delicious. They also do a lovely house burger pickle which is full of gherkins.

Also, non food related but I love their eau du toilette perfumes. I've bought them for myself and as gifts. Highly recommend the pink pepper one, the soft iris one and velvet amber. I get lots of compliments on them and just got one for my mum for her birthday as she's been nagging me to get her some.

They have some limited edition cheese and pickled onion crisps in at the moment which are delicious

10% fat Greek yoghurt

I think their fruit and veg is better than Waitrose

Limited edition chocolate bread sandwiches, with chocolate sauce, strawberries, pistachio cream filling- unexpectedly moreish

Turkish chargrilled olives Absolutely gorgeous.

The Big Daddy Peanut butter bar- dark chocolate, milk chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts and salted caramel.
Utterly delicious. Sadly !

I was always a die hard Heinz baked beans fan but their beans are SO good!! And so much cheaper.: 45p a can! I love their combo mixes- current fave is jalepono and sour cream 🤤

i will be adding this nutty salad to my Ocado order!

That butter sounds incredible. In M&S I like their cheese taster crisps, chocolate covered brazil nuts and pistachio cookies. Also the whipped feta dip with pitta chips. Their microwave curries are great too, I like the king prawn one.

Second this, I don’t have a sweet tooth, and these are very sweet.. but there is something about these!

I love their Chinese slow cooked black pepper beef! I get this in place of a takeaway now.
Also like the teriyaki poke bowl and katsu poke bowl as a cold lunch or dinner when the weather is hot

I love their bags of ring donuts from the bakery. So much better than anywhere else, and I don’t really have a sweet tooth, but they are heavenly.

Mexican layered dip = unbelievable
Limited edition cheesy nacho salad
There new range of biscuits, in particular the white chocolate coated cookies & cream flavour. Best biscuits I've ever tasted.
The chicken bags of flavour
The HUGE chicken shish kebab (OMG it's good)
Chicken tikka burgers
Cheese & onion sausage rolls
Etc. etc.

I shop on ocado purely to get the range of m&s products and am a sucker for when they launch new things, hence the list of recommendations being quite long!

They’ve actually dropped the price to 40p a can at my store in past couple months. Those are the baked beans we buy.
