I was actually thinking earlier today that if there's any jobs like transformation consultant that come up through this government, I might well apply

I have come to the point where I just think if you can't beat them, join them. It would be an interesting experiment to see how much I'll actually have to do. And I'm not fussed how it would turn out. It just seems like everything's disaster and the jobs are a gravy train, so maybe I'll do a test to see if my feelings are correct (based on having actually walked out of one once years ago, on account of conscience issues)

i've just had a call with someone who clearly did listen to the speech. He never talks about anything else at work, but he literally went straight into it about what Burnham is going to do. Interestingly, he said to me that he is centre left, but he feels this is going to go too far left. And he's really worried about what will happen to the south in a drive for equality.

he was definitely very agitated although he was doing his best to hide it. He's honestly never talked to me about anything other than work before.

I'm sure she can edit linkedin to include going to CCF at school.
