What's the most attractive thing a man has done unintentionally?

worldshottestmom · 05/06/2026 20:35

Can be your DH/DP/random man. I'm single, so my instances will be of a random man.

When I was at work recently, a man who works there, who is really chatty with me, asked me how my birthday was and idk why but it was such a turn on. Literally no-one else remembered, and I don't expect them to as I don't make a fuss of it, so the fact he remembered it was just really attractive. The bar is in hell guys, pray for me.

Another time was a few months ago; we had a contractor come in to work to fix the lift. We let on and asked how each other is etc, I mentioned being annoyed as I hadn't been able to take a break yet after 6 hours work, so he said go for your break and if anyone says anything he will sort them out. Already a turn on. I go for my break, come back and he is arguing with my manager that I should have had a break by now because of working so long etc. I think I may keep breaking the lift in hopes that he comes back.

Making this thread as I've been on a lot of threads today that ended up being really negative and want a shred of positivity on my Friday night - so, what is the most unintentionally attractive thing that a man has done that you found attractive?

I fell for DH when he gave me a lift. The sight of his hand on the gearstick, an inch of white cuff showing over his wristbone below his suit jacket. Hmm.

Stop that is the hottest thing ever

Been married almost 30 years and he definitely lived up to the promise!

DH - a few days ago I got my foot caught in the hem of some wide trousers as we were walking and almost went flat on my face but DH caught me. It was literally like in a film, his grip was so firm and he followed up by putting me back on my feet, asking if I was ok and kissing me. It was lovely.

On the opposite note, we have a nephew with a disability and DH often takes him off to do things he thinks he can’t do. He’s always so patient and relentlessly positive and their relationship is amazing. So attractive.

He was brought up on a farm and I’ve watched him calm a panicked horse, cry over having our dog pts and calmly deliver a lamb. Cliche but 100% swoon-worthy.

Edited

Why is everyone on here's husband so damn hot. Delivering a lamb?? Such a man. If you ever divorce please DM me

Sending me money for an outfit and nails for a date.

randomly reciting me poems that resonated with him (just in passing conversation)

making friends, connections, business wherever he goes

making and packing a ridiculous amount of burritos or wraps whenever I travelled

hiding money in my pockets

bribing a bar man to save my favourite lounger by the pool

stopped killing spiders and all insects because I don’t like it.

“you seem said shall I pay for your hair”?

went and sat with his best friend
and his family while they waited for his sister to pass.

this is a few different guys 😅

Edited

Im glad you said it was a few different guys because no daln way can one man be this perfect

Hiding money in your pockets?? How do you find these people and are they single now

When I saw him playing pool in the pub for the first time. He was so in control of the game and cleared up the table like a pro. And every time he took a shot his sleeve raised up a little bit to see his upper arms. Phoarr.

I'm in love 😍

A dad at a play park expertly swung himself up the spiderweb climbing frame to rescue my daughter who had got herself stuck at the top. I was clinging on to her flight risk two year old brother at the bottom.

I’d have shagged him there and then on the swings. Still think about that day one divorce and ten years later 😂

Nothing better than a dad rescuing your DC 😍 i hope your paths cross again!

There's a very simple thing some men do, stand when a woman enters the room.

I've just had shoulder surgery and my husband has been helping me in and out of the bath/ shower and drying me off and helping me dress. The drying me off- I glanced down when he was at boob height and he'd closed his eyes bless him 😂 Was doing his best to focus. So that and that he's been brushing and plaiting my hair for me. And my hair is very long, very thick and very fine so it knots if you so much as breath near it. The patience that has taken is very sexy!

I have never had a man do anything like this for me but its now on my requirements list! Seriously though, how caring and sweet of him bless him

When we were early dating he came to a family wedding with me and the sound system broke - he joined my dad and uncle and the man whose system it was, and quietly just fixed it. It was kind and lovely.

I'm glad to remember that as I am annoyed with him today and I need to remember that he's a man who will always step up for me and our family. Swoon!

One of my favourites was when I first moved to London. Late 80’s. I was on a v hot crowded bus going to Oxford street. Sitting inside by window when I giant wasp started buzzing about my head. Before I had time to panic this hand appeared and crushed it. I turned around and this American soldier saluted me and said ‘He’s dead ma’am’. Still swoon about it now.

Stop it that is such a turn on! I would have proposed no questions asked

Someone who had been raised well by an extremely house proud mum, who in turn kept our home spotless and always proactively cleaned / kept the house clean / did all the different household chores naturally

same person also sorted realistic / successful romantic trips where I didn't need to do anything other than just turn up. All the details were sorted and thought of. We had some wonderful times away.

This is beautiful! The kind of man I'm trying to raise

I went teetotal during uni. On a night out with some friends one of the boys didn't want me to feel left out while they were doing shots, so he bought me shot of diet coke.

I joked to mine to ‘just call me a mucky bitch’ (thing I had accidentally spilled food on me) and he said “I couldn’t call you a bitch even in jest”

He also works with animals and is extremely calm and patient with them - a lot of them are nervous.

Wow this is rare for me. I don't think I've ever not been called a bitch by a man I've dated lmaooo

DP carried my elderly cat to bed the other day and crooned to her while he did so.

He's a dog person, always has been. Said he didn't like cats. He's also a self-described 'geezer', But he cradled that 6 pound girly cat in his big hands and carried her gently to her bed. It was a few minutes before he came back and I asked him what he'd been doing and he said 'Well she wanted some strokes so I sat down with her for a bit.'

Little kindnesses. It's always the little kindnesses.

Big men cuddling animals/babies/children will never not be the hottest thing ever tbh

actors can be awful and arrogant on set. Max Beesley is the kindest, charmingest man you could ever meet. I’m from the NW and find a lot of men in the SE negative and arrogant relative to the way guys will flatter you and help you up there. MB is full of that “let me give you a hand, chuck” NW energy and when I and a mate were slightly out of our depth running a set I didn’t really have the experience to do, he kept stepping in and making things easier. I will always remember him grabbing two camera tripods and legging it upstairs with them to help to disguise that i’d forgotten to hire a runner. Heart of gold alongside a certain level of bad boy energy is killer. He was one of those actors you used to get back then who couldn’t believe his luck, really appreciated the lifestyle rather than being a brickie or something, and he always looked after production crew with just the slight edge of gendered gentlemanliness that feminists are supposed to disapprove of. HES HOT AS FUCK

I cannot believe you have met and worked with Max Beesley!! You have the best job ever!!! So refreshing to hear that he is as gentlemanly as he is handsome. Not my go to type but in action he just seems hot. I feel famous by association now. You, to me, are basically famous.

Please do spill the gossip on all other actors you've met??? Please God tell me you have met Cillian Murphy and that he is a dime. I've watched peaky blinders 4 times just to fantasise over him as Tommy shelby. I wish I was joking

When I was around 20, I went to the Bronte Parsonage museum. I was a bit obsessed with WH. As I was mooching around, a handsome, poetic-looking, young man spoke to me shyly, like he really wanted to start a conversation. It was so attractive but I was an idiot, went scarlet and practically ran away.
DH didn't want a cat and is a bit germ phobic, so seeing him snuggle our cat and talk nonsense to her is very appealing.

Awww hahaha bless you that first one made me chuckle. How sweet and endearing

Honestly idk what it is about men talking to animals that I find so attractive

I’m going to lower the tone massively… I was seeing a guy casually, kind of FWB except we weren’t friends. I thought he saw me purely as a warm female body tbh, not a great situation, though he was absolutely spectacular in bed, no regrets. Anyway, I started having orgasms by other people for the first time ever while I was seeing him. We were texting about our next meeting once, and the subject came up, and he sent me a lengthy detailed description of exactly how my orgasms occurred and looked. I was truly blown away by his attention to detail and rather aware that I couldn’t have done the same for his. Massive turn on and helped me realise what made him God’s gift in the sack.

Wow I actually love this! As far as turn ons go this comment wins the thread. That is so intimate and sexy to have him pay such attention to detail. Very saucy, I like it

On a trip with a group of colleagues, a male colleague picked up my massive suitcase and held it above his head and put it up in the overhead storage. He did it with apparent ease. I could barely lift the thing. I was so impressed and still think about that!

I have to say I really don’t find either of your examples a turn on. There is zero erotic about either of them

That's okay, my bar is in hell so I dont expect many people to find them attractive lmao

Do you have examples?

The bin men who used to wave at my toddler DD every week on bin day because she loved standing in the window watching them.

Also a casual boyfriend turned up at my house straight from playing rugby once… his rugby shirt was ripped

My kids love watching the bin men, too! And they always wave as well lol

Okay now you've got me all fired up because there is NOTHING, nothing on this planet I love more than a man who plays rugby. You are so damn lucky that happened to you and I hope you had a hell of a night. Have you ever seen Friday Night Lights?? Watched it while pregnant with DS1 and the amount of hot rugby player guys in it, sheeeeeeeesh (its actually American football, but who cares, its hot bulky men getting sweaty and dirty)
