Heard of him? Probably not, because there seems to be an almost complete news blackout about him. Basically the police handcuffed him and let him bleed out because they thought he may have said something racist - he didn't, it was a lie told by his murderer. Henry was 18.

I watch News At Ten on BBC One almost every night and I've never heard of this story before tonight!!

Sikh Leaders have released a statement condemning the murder ( unlike Starmer)
They are generally a peaceful law abiding community who dont cause much trouble. They were as horrified as the rest of us about the senseless murder of poor Henry 😢

Yeah. It's a convenient response in certain situations, for some. Be Kind. Like the judge implied when he wasn't sentencing the 3 travellers for horrific rape. Fck off.

Musk has offered to fund a civil lawsuit on behalf of Henry’s family. I really hope they take him up on it

The report i saw (bbc news at 10 this eve) had a recording of him calling the police saying they had been racially abused.

The footage is upsetting and horrific and it makes no sense that they didnt even attempt to look for or attend to any injuries while he lay dying (regardless of who the alleged attacker was)

@SocialistMummy and @JuliaBraverman I was just genuinely curious because I was well aware of the case but don't consider myself particularly news-savvy in fact I actively avoid it because it's all so hideous.

I’ve just watched the footage too. It’s appalling. Only the female officer states half heartedly that they’d better check Henry over but there is no sense of care or urgency with regards to Henry at all.

Apparently the murderer’s family called Henry’s family and the judge racist. This was after the judge left the court. Security and police had to step in. So even after the son murdered, the mum hid the knife and the brother lied on the phone, they are still throwing the racist word around. The word racism no longer has the power it once did. Because it has been hijacked by the lawless to excuse and profit from their crimes. It has been overplayed and people just react with an eye roll. A shame for those who really have been a victim of racism.

Me too but many posters over the weekend tried to play it down… that’s what’s happening to our country

The public are now becoming more and more aware of what exactly is happening is this country and fed up with it, too long we have been told certain rules don't apply to certain people and we are fed up with it.

How there can be a serious movement of getting knives off the streets when some people have the right to carry them around is madness

Did the dragging and handcuffing make the stab wounds even worse? If you are handcuffed behind your back presumably that would open up a chest wound.

The video is horrific - far worse than I imagined. The last thing Henry Nowak heard as he died was his rights being read to him as he was arrested for ‘racism’.

Not yet hopefully. I hope they all suffer serious consequences especially the one who states ‘I don’t think so mate’ then rolls him over to handcuff him without checking for stab wounds or any other kind of wounds
