Henry Nowak

Heard of him? Probably not, because there seems to be an almost complete news blackout about him. Basically the police handcuffed him and let him bleed out because they thought he may have said something racist - he didn't, it was a lie told by his murderer. Henry was 18.

Female police officer at the end of the video "his pupils aren't even reacting". Henry is still handcuffed, completely helpless with his hands cuffed behind his back.

His poor, poor family having to watch that, it's utterly horrific. I hope the two police officers have nightmares about it every night, for the rest of their lives

The murderers brother should also go to prison/ Lying pos. Apparently he'd told - lied to - the police in advance when he called them that the white guy had attacked his brother.

The video is horrific - far worse than I imagined. The last thing Henry Nowak heard as he died was his rights being read to him as he was arrested for ‘racism’.

Yes. Imagine his family watching that. 😔😡

Imagine him thinking that he was saved when the police arrived, and instead they did that. The hopelessness he must have endured in his last minutes.

I hope the police involved are haunted, wracked with guilt amd ill from the stress of everyone knowing what they did. I hope they are prosecuted, and their lives changed forever.

The public are now becoming more and more aware of what exactly is happening is this country and fed up with it, too long we have been told certain rules don't apply to certain people and we are fed up with it.

How there can be a serious movement of getting knives off the streets when some people have the right to carry them around is madness

The more people that watch that footage - and know the real story, the better. Horrific as it is. This is where we are. And the politicians need to do something.

EarlNeedsAHome · Yesterday 23:13

This case is absolutely undeniably horrific and very sad, but the posters that are trying to use this one case as evidence of a police force that actively discriminates against white people are completely deluded. Something terrible happened, and it's a tragedy. My heart is with his friends and family who are feeling this dreadful loss. Please don't make this into something it isn't though for political purposes. There are cruel and awful people in this world of every race, religion and gender.

The issue isn't really these individual police men/women. It's a much deeper problem. I hope they are not used as scapegoats by Starmer et al.

There are deluded people, that is for sure.

That's literally what happened though. They ignored a fuck off big knife, blood amd stab wounds because a killer used the magic r-word.

We all hope that

Did the dragging and handcuffing make the stab wounds even worse? If you are handcuffed behind your back presumably that would open up a chest wound.

This was my thought too. It was at that point he said he couldn’t breathe. It’s horrific.

What are you saying? What has Nowak got to do with far right bigots???

Well, they chose to protest in his name outside the local asylum hotel because his attacker was non-white (despite being British born and not an asylum seeker.) If they truly just wanted to hold a vigil in his honour, there are far more suitable locations they could have chosen.

Yes. They risk nothing and champion anything, whilst earning their precious status points.

What possible reason do you think the police had for arresting the man on the ground and not the turban-less standing one for if not discrimination against white people?
They clearly believed the brown one over the white one, even though the white one wasn't offering a version of events? As said many times, if the colour of skin was reversed in this scenario there would be buildings being burnt.

HollyHolly123 · Yesterday 23:18

Oh my goodness I have just heard the bodycam recording on the radio. His poor family having to hear that. That poor poor boy, someone should have been comforting him , holding his hand not handcuffing it. It’s just so shocking that poor kid and his poor family. That said the person who is responsible for his death is the killer himself . My heart goes out to Henry’s family.

Dollymylove · Yesterday 23:19

So where do we going from here? How can we reverse this mess the country is in?
We have absolute silence from the government. A pathetic "apology from Hampshires chief Constable, and an American billionaire offering funding for a civil case against the police.
The rest of the world must be scratching their heads in disbelief. I honestly feel embarrassed to be Britsh right now

The mum had hidden the knife (taken it home I believe), the brother had told the police the white man had been racist and hurt them (his poor eye), they couldn't see the stab wounds. I'm certainly not protecting them - just stating facts.

MsGreying · Yesterday 23:22

The BBC showed the footage. I assume as the killer had been found guilty that it had happened some time ago.

I'd not heard of prior.

The footage is awful.
He's on the floor being treated like a criminal whilst he's dying.

What an awful thing to have happened. I can not imagine what his parents are going through.

Me too they deserve nothing less. Furious that at the moment they are being treated just as witnesses,
