They also said the whole 24 hour not allowing use of base being spun as a moral crusade was ludicrous.

I missed Al Carns though, he’s getting a lot of positive stuff, will try to listen.

I concur, been listening this morning too. Al Carns hasn't been on, just reporting that he said he will run.

I was cheering when Stig spoke about the 24 hour delay becoming a moral crusade. Brilliant stuff this morning.

My dislike of Labour as a whole aside, the idea of an actual grown up like Al Carns running makes me feel a bit better, but sadly he’s far too sensible for the likes of the current backbenchers.

As an ex-RM he’ll take no shit from anyone and will have an incredibly thick skin. I hope he’s given a decent position in the next Cabinet.

True to form, Starmer took the coward's way out and left No.10 by the back exit this morning.

I don't think he'll get very far tbh, but he's less batshit than the others I suppose. He might end up as defence secretary though when this is all over.
He backed the troubles bill - not a good look for an armed forces minister. Kemi will be very willing to push that bruise.

I think Wes must be trying to gather the 81 Labour MPs signatures that are needed. Or he just likes drama. Or he has bottled it 😆
