A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour* *government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Unhappy lot. They need to look at their own party, its leader and their failings.

Welsh Labour today trying to blame Keir for their unpopularity. No-one is falling for it. NHS, taxes, devolved years ago to Wales. Planting trees in Uganda, being a nation of sanctuary for immigrants, five year waiting lists for surgery on hips, knees.

This is great too in a way. Even his own party blame him.

The problem of civil servants "working" from home preceded Labour, but if this article is anything to go by it's become a lot worse since 2024.

Same.
I've known my local tory candidate for years, so happy to give them my support. Also happy to show support to Kemi. I think Reform will clean up here though.
For the first time ever, dh and I are both voting conservative. I never thought I'd see the day! 😁

😀 ik they won’t win here, I’ve never lived anywhere not Labour. Maybe we’ll be Green soon anyway

Lots of insults from those overly interested in our posts on various threads as per. Some familiar styles.

I hope you escape the greens. 🤞
Yes always Labour here, but I'm certain that it will flip to Reform this time.

The Kemi poll is definitive, despite the insults and slurs. Yes I noticed the NCs too.

Kemi Badenoch isn't Islamophobic, what a ridiculous thing to say.

.... Wrong thread 🫣😁

Yeh prob for the best. Labour’s downfall is theirs alone.

I'm not. Oddly I never crash their threads 🤷‍♀️

I've only ever reported marketing messages and one time when somebody dropped an image of torture in the middle of a thread I was chatting on.

I can't imagine hovering over a thread with an itchy trigger finger scanning for offence. Oh well, however you get your kicks I suppose.

That Guardian article about Burnham looks to me like a prime piece of Starmerite nobbling.

I think I’ll keep an eye on the Grauniad for not-so-veiled attacks by Labour factions on each other. They keep banging on about “we can’t have in-fighting like the Tories!” And then they go off for a spot of knifing each other in the back. Remember that weekend when Streeting was the victim? Horrible underhand stuff. And Rayner looks like she’s ready to land an R2-D2 stiletto heel in Starmer’s head.

Labour now is every bit as factionalised and vicious as the Tories ever were. And after 2 years in office!

Hallowedturf · 06/05/2026 16:22

I almost feel sorry for them.

Almost.

Almost.

I might if it wasn’t the relentless sneering and hypocrisy coming from them and supporters.

They did it to themselves. Actually that might is a bit strong, I don’t ;

Yeah it's definitely red-on-red. As you say, echoes of the Wes Streeting briefings there.
The MP quoted is a Starmerite. Bollard must be losing support now though? I'm surprised he has any tbh.

Almost.

Not for me, that ship has sailed. I think it was watching them play working class hero in May'24, only to see their scathing contempt for the working poor revealed as Labour's popularity ebbed away.
