Iran have not yet responded and have since issued air strikes at Isreal. There’s no ceasefire confirmation as of yet from Iran or a statement saying they’ll agree to terms opening the strait.

I think it's a great pity that international law, the UN, the ICC, the US, the EU and the West generally haven't done more to deal with the growing threats from Iran over the last 25+ years.

The Iranian regime has threatened to destroy Israel, has supported terrorism in the West and funds and arms terrorist organisations like Hezbollah, Hamas, ISIS, and the Houthis.

I think an armed conflict with Iran has been inevitable for many years.
