Reports from inside Iran have said that any support for Trump has disappeared. There no surprise given the US bombed a school full of children, has stated they they intend to bomb the majority of civilian infrastructure and have threatened to invade and destroy the civilians livelihood via the oil. Prior to Trump, negotiations were close to getting the enriched uranium. Now Trump has very successfully locked in support for the current regime, killed the leaders who disnt want a nuke and replaced them with hardliners and given the Iran Government an amazing way of getting billions of dollars per day to rebuild their arsenal. Just like Israel’s attack on Gaza, they have guaranteed the creation of future generations of terrorists and slaughtered huge numbers of civilians. Nothing about this war has come even close to helping the Iranian people or removing terrorism. It’s guaranteed the opposite.

My daughter works for Iranians and they are hugely supporting trump, I have no idea, im a working class English woman who can feel frightened about what's going on but I cant really have an opinion as ive not lived under a strict islamic state and from what my daughters bosses have said we really dont want to.

@BluebellShmoobell of course you can have an opinion. Even if Iranians are clinging on to the hope of regime change because of this war, I don’t think it’s going to happen. Trump already admitted that there plan to supply weapons failed. It’s just very difficult to see how regeime change will come from this this.

And what is absolutely going to happen is that people are dying and the entire world economy is going to be affected. So we all have a right to an opinion.

I know a number of Iranians, with family in Iran theu are desperate for the regime to fall I don’t think it comes down to if the support Trump it is about can at last they really be rid of a a regime that has made their lives a misery
