I was listening to Sounds of the 70s yesterday, and honestly thought they’d dragged some random in off the street to present. SK sounded bored to tears, Bob Harris he ain’t.

I switched over to radio 2 the day Scott Mills started. Chris and Vassos were very evangelical about the whole thing. Pretty much dominated the show. But that was a year just over a year ago, I have listened since but I imagine it’s still very much the same. Just got tiresome.

Never forgave the BeeB when they replaced the lovely lovely Steve Wright, with the awful Scott Mills. I really tried to like his show but he just wasn’t genuine and was just there for the cash.

I don't think Matt & Mollie would do R1 breakfast. They're getting older and have little kids. They're funnier in the afternoons.

Sam & Danni have morning R1 energy. Possibly with Jerry as stand in. The loss of Jordan still annoys me, he should have R1 breakfast with Katie. Anyone but sodding Jamie, who even manages to ruin poor Katie and Vic some of the time.

It’s nonsense which is spouted mostly by people who are racist though, so it’s a bit of a tell.

Always makes me laugh that whenever something like this happens there are so many “I knew he was dodgy” “Gave me bad vibes””Never liked him” “There was just something about him..” “I could just tell” “I’m not surprised” posts. What do people get out of saying things like that? Does it make them feel clever?
