A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙* *

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Labour set for humiliating election defeat in Wales as poll suggests Plaid will control Senedd mol.im/a/15677505 via https://dailym.ai/android

Wales. Well that's my vote decided. It will have to be reform because Plaid and labour are in the same bed but more dangerous. Conservative dead in the water.

Greens a loose cannon, lib Dems flip flop. It's going to be messy.

Haha seems the thread went quiet during PMQs following another abysmal performance from Badenoch. Just some lovely comments about wanting to punch someone's face (but of course it's lefties who are so nasty) then it dropped off.

Are you on the right thread? There’s a pro Starmer / Labour one in chat, they talk about Kemi and Farage a lot.

They are totally obsessed with Farage and Reform. Starmer barely gets a look in.

Right, sometimes it’s as though he doesn’t exist.

We do get some <interesting> ploppers on these threads! 🤔

I think it’s when Starmer / Labour are struggling. We could get a nice chart going with plops and ratings.

thatsmyhouse · 25/03/2026 14:13

Only you lot brought up Farage?? Not surprised you don't want to talk about PMQs though.

This is a Labour isn’t working thread. Others exist that go on about how great they’re doing.

I think maybe you have (purposefully?) misunderstood this thread.

This is a thread for people that dislike the current Labour government. It is not a pro-Tory, or pro-anyone thread - it’s purely and simply a “this Labour government is terrible” thread 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t listen as I find Starmer excruciating but I can see Kemi getting a huge amount of support on IG so that’s good.

That seems to be the current Labour tactic.

I've just had Labour's local election leaflet through the door. It contains not a single word about what Labour have done at council level, nor what they plan to do if re-elected. Its just a Reform are bad message. They dont even explain in any detail why Reform are bad.

It suggests they are really rattled in my area of Merseyside (of all places!)

DenizenOfAisleOfShame · 25/03/2026 17:36

I haven’t seen PMQs yet, though I’ll try to catch up on YouTube. But the reports I’ve read of it suggest Starmer just blustered and evaded his way through again. I’ll look out carefully for that rarest of creatures, a genuine answer from Starmer. He really is shockingly bad as a PM in all respects.

I've not seen a Labour leaflet. I'm in north Sefton, and they came round to beg for our vote recently, but no flyers yet unless DH stuck it straight in the recycling bin!

I imagine ours will be similar to yours though!

The other place is giving her a good slating, saying she was shit! 🤷‍♀️

Tbf it’s the same every time no matter what happens. Apparently Starmer is doing great even though he’s shite each week.

Kemi defo gets way more love on other SM just not on mn.

They are convinced he actually answered the questions.

thatsmyhouse · 25/03/2026 20:26

He did answer the questions. Do people here just want a 'yes,' a 'no,' or a 'Quite right, Kemi, thank you for pointing it out.'? He explained why he couldn't just award the licences she mentioned and later Ed Davey backed him up (which isn't a regular thing) and made her look even more ridiculous. Say what you like about him but he answered her question (singular - she just kept repeating it) today.

He’s terrible every week. Doesn’t answer, uses insults and is easily rattled.

He hides. He is not a leader.

thatsmyhouse · 25/03/2026 20:42

He literally is a leader. And it's not hiding to point out the reasons why something can't be done. The last lot lied to the Queen to shut parliament down illegally. Now THAT is hiding.

EasternStandard · 25/03/2026 20:45

There’s no point selling in Starmer at PMQs, most can see how badly he’s doing.

Im sefton too! So you might get something similar. They were round begging for votes last weekend.
