If you can't pay your energy bill, you're not going to spend £400 on a single, useless bloody solar panel with a plug socket at the end of a wire.

I listened to about 5 minutes of it, but couldn't take anymore. She didn't actually announce anything, so pointless anyway. She just stood there, saying err a lot, and shouting about it all being the conservative's fault.
Her BFF Jeremy Hunt called her out for being too partisan for the occasion.

@TheNuthatch agree he's deeply irresponsible and I really did not like the way he got bad tempered on one of the Sunday shows explaining this.

I can only think it's part of Labour's campaign in advance of 7th May, in which case, do they seriously think those who believed them in 2024 still buys into their deceit?

Seems to be the “bigger the lie” strategy. Which most people will hopefully see through, or at least start to at least question some of the evidence free assertions that the government makes.

I got battered with hail stone on my walk this morning. Winter is back.

Starmer wants to talk about the cost of living? He's made it worse.
Inflation stuck at 3% still thanks to Labour policies. Slow hand clap. That's before the impact of the war in Iran.
Food inflation is at 3.6%, Institute of Grocery Distribution are saying that food inflation could reach 8% by the summer.

Good to hear a proper discussion about the NHS on Times Radio this morning.

I think their SM team enjoys getting comments due to how bad the stuff is that they put out.

Labour will establish 15 new councils and cut 800 councillors as part of the biggest reorganisation of local government in half a century.

Labour is also likely to benefit electorally from an approach that expands the boundaries of cities, where they are more likely to control the council. 🧐

They're desperate to run (and ruin) this country. Portsmouth and Southampton are my nearest cities; the area is already over-developed and impacted by overcrowded housing estates - which are rapidly descending into ghettos if crime reporting in the local press is anything to go by. Hideous and depressing.

I really hope there's strong opposition to this dictatorial madness.
