A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙* *

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

If nothing else, our esteemed PM provides a rich source of material for the creators of memes.

Brilliant 😂😂

I saw one yesterday with a similar caption, and it was Starmer serving the tea in a maid outfit. 🤣

It’s the dishonesty and lies that do it. Inserting ‘we’ into to any positive outcome when he had f all to do with it.

His whole leadership has been this posturing nonsense.

Absolutely. The article posted above by Dancing points rightly to the heavy lifting of "we".

Starmer seems to have deluded his own MPs into thinking that he's the best man for the job. They have a shock coming in May me thinks.

The new poll, by JL Partners, shows that a majority of voters in every region and age group want the Prime Minister to be replaced.
Asked “should Keir Starmer stay or go?”, 64 per cent of people said he should go and 18 per cent said he should stay. Of those who voted Labour in 2024, 46 per cent said they wanted him to go now.

It’s all on Starmer this one. Others said it was foolish. His pride makes him out of touch and arrogant enough to dismiss anyone else.

StatuteofLiberty · 11/04/2026 08:34

Business and hauliers that rely on diesel esp have asked reeves to drop the fuel tax coming. They have said it's the wrong time. ( Should not need to spell this out ). They said it will cause massive inflation on top of huge pressures for them.

They have shown other counties dropping taxes to help people.

It is good news. Just reading about it in The Times. It has been dropped from the King's Speech (U turn no.16), but sources saying the govt intend to bring it back.
They acknowledge that the UK can't proceed without US approval though, and I can't see Trump doing Starmer a solid any time soon!

Let's hope thats the end of it, but you never know with this lot. They have a death wish.

A bill to cede sovereignty will not be included in the King’s Speech next month after the US president branded it an ‘act of great stupidity’

I doubt Reeves will listen. She/the govt already know what's happening.
I paid £1.88 per litre for diesel yesterday. A big chunk of that went to the treasury.

Not sure if you’re reading the same threads as me but getting the impression people have had really had enough of this shit show. Have you read the questions for Rachel Reeves thread, some great questions on there (which I cannot see her answering).

Yes, just seen that thread. Some good questions, but I think we can guess how Reeves will respond. The usual waffle, probably claims of misogyny too.

I'm seeing a lot of threads about welfare and many posters have clearly had enough. Some posters trying to police these threads. Are we not allowed to discuss welfare now? How very dare anyone have an issue with the ballooning welfare bill eh! Its ridiculous how some think they can control what others think/say on here.
