Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Me too!. I have no natural order for dressing and it just depends on the day what I’ll put on first. This is despite being autistic and I do have very rigid orders for many other things!

I really don't understand trousers before socks. It sounds so impractical.

Another monster here.
I shower in the evening and put my pyjamas top on first, it feels warmer that way.
Than in the morning I'm changing from pyjamas, so I change one half and than the other.
If I'm dressing fully after being wet, I'd go from top, as I'd dry myself from top.
I suppose if I was dressing from being naked but not wet, I might start with knickers.

I'm used to leaving trousers last, especially if I'm putting on the outside trousers, as I don't want to sit in my public transport trousers in my bed.

Bra first, of course.
Choose the bra for the outfit.
Then match the knickers to the bra.
It is the common sense way to do it, like jam before cream.

Your order is almost right, OP. Objectively the correct order is pants, bra, trousers, (hiatus to dry hair and do make-up while deodorant dries), top, socks.

What about getting undressed? I’m slightly more relaxed about that, and have even been known to leave my bra til last if I’m not putting it in the laundry basket. That always feel slightly wrong, though, in a Winnie the Pooh-ish sort of way.

Don’t wear knickers. Wouldn’t wear a bra if I could get away with it.

I usually put bra on first, followed by deodorant. That way the deodorant can be drying a bit while I put my knickers on, otherwise I have to wait around before I can put my top on

It's not daft. Once I reported a post where the OP said they were fed up with women wearing short skirts and showing their vaginas! It was deleted. Then there was the post recently asking women about how their vaginas felt during their periods. I feel like women's nakedness and private parts is coming up too often here. If this goes on, more and more pervs will come and read.

Just be aware that there are quite possibly pervs reading all about how you put your bra and knickers on. If you're comfortable providing voyeurs with reading material, carry on!
