Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Knickers first in a communal changing room. Not that it matters to me, but it seems respectful to people who might.

Thankfully, those people do not stand round watching me get dressed at home! No fixed order. Sometimes I even put my clothes on without wearing one or t’other. (Never both, oddly. That seems a bit OTT.)

You put ANY clothes on and then moisturise your legs?
That is odd to me! I moisturise my legs, and other body areas that I feel need it, straight after a shower, before I get dressed at all....

Ain't that the truth! If I'm not going out then it's knickers, Full stop! A wrenched should makes fastening a bra really painful at the moment so it needs to be an occasion for me to bother, not even Church this morning warranted a bra.

I actually mix and match - sometimes bra first and sometimes knickers first. And sometimes even socks before anything else!

Socks first, generally have them warming up on the radiator 😄.

Nothing more icky than seeing meat and 2 veg hanging down from the hem of a shirt 😂

Always used to do pants first but now I have to put oestrogel on, I do bra and top on first, plus face moisturiser, whilst waiting for my legs to dry off enough tp put pants and trousers on. It does feel wrong though! 🤣

Years ago when I was backpacking, a German girl in our dorm always put her socks and shoes on first. Literally starkers, bending down to tie her shoelaces. Just so wrong.

But surely you choose all the clothes first, lay them out on the bed bfore, then dress? You can't go drifting around the bedroom willy nilly choosing clothes as you go (and still knickerless) can you!

I do sometimes but i feel really weird about it, and a bit like im doing something illegal.

Similarly, I once had a conversation with friends about whether we wear knickers in bed (really covering all the pressing issues with that conversation, clearly) and I said ‘Well, I usually sleep naked but sometimes I need to wear a non-wired bra in bed for support, so on those nights I wear knickers’ and my friend said ‘Well, you don’t need to wear knickers just because you’ve got a bra on’. Er… YES I DO, because I’m not a fucking psychopath.
