Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Is it because Hollywood and TV has brainwashed us into thinking that boob nudity is more respectable than fanny nudity? You have actresses who have gone topless but going bottomless is for the absolutely depraved and also Kate Winslet. So we have to put knickers on first.

I do put my knickers on first in the pool changing room but that is so can sit down to do the rest. I don't want to be bending over without pants on.

I also always do pants first. Interesting that people get dressed from top to bottom. That seemed like a good way to detect humans from aliens, but I guess we’ll need something else now.

Well my bra is usually on the floor somewhere and my pants are in the drawer, so I do tend to grab my bra first if that's where I'm standing.

I can almost understand those who have given their reasons for bra first, but to have no specific order! It’s knickers, bra, emotional support vest, deodorant. Then leg moisturiser, socks, trousers and then top/jumper. There is a specific order of when to do your teeth, apply skincare etc in there as well!

Another monster here! I can’t tell you how much I love a thread like this, when you find out there are these ways of doing things going on for other people that you had no idea of. It’s never occurred to me for a second that there should be an order. Now youve said it; I probably put knickers on first more often, but definitely not all the time. Socks or bra may be closer to hand so they’d go on first. Nothing feeling weird about any of it!

Mine is usually bra first.

I have big boobs and don’t like walking around being bra-less for too long.

I also typically dry from top to bottom.
So I’ll dry my shoulders and neck etc then wrap the towel around my chest for a while whilst i moisturise and get my outfit ready etc.

Them I’ll dry my boobs and back and put my bra on.
Then dry down the rest of my body and put my knickers on.
Then dry my feet and put my socks on.
Then the rest of my clothes.
