Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Depends how droopy your boobs are. You might need them out of the way first so the don't get accidentally tucked in your knickers........🤔

I put my socks on first I think. I'm permanently cold and hate barefeet. If I'm in my jammies(don't wear them to bed, just in the house to be warm) I probably would take my top off first so bra then socks then pants.

Knickers first is the only way. My husband takes his pants off before his t-shirt. Who does that?!

I used to put knickers on first but now I've got hrt gel and it takes ten minutes at least to dry so bra first, while still in the bathroom so I can wash my hands, then gel, is a more efficient use of time.

I'm guessing the heroine of this novel isn't using eostrodial though.

Yes this! Would feel weirdly exposed (to whom I have no idea, very much just me 😂) having bra on and no pants. Also I guess usually when getting ready would want a few minutes for deodorant to dry before putting bra on and again would feel strange waiting with nothing on my bottom half 🤷‍♀️

Socks is logical. Chances are if you e just come out of the shower and are wrapped in a towel or bathrobe it is your feet that will need the warmth of clothing first.

No, I help DH with his belt and suspenders first then once he’s sorted out my knickers on.

Usually knickers first, just in case of emergency as @hazelberry pointed out. However I might put on bra again in the bathroom after showering and then go to the bedroom for a new pair of knickers with towel wrapped around so a bit like @Tigerbalmshark

I like to cover my modesty first with my knickers which ironically are strings so only ever cover the bare minimum of modesty but enough for me.
Knicks, jeans, bra top socks always.

Do people follow an order? I have no idea what I do. It’s probably different every day.
