Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

But what if there was a fire and you had to run out of your house before you were dressed? You can't be donald ducking it outside your house in front of the neighbours and the firemen...

Can't say I've even thought about it tbh but socks are definitely 1st for me i hate my feet being uncovered but I'm now going to pay more attention to what I do after that 🤣

Knickers first, no bra (only one little boob) and then clothes. Then both socks before both shoes - I'd feel a bit daft running out of the house with one totally bare foot and one fully shod (diddle diddle dumpling, my son John 🎵)

I did when we had a housefire a few years ago, pajamas no shoes or slippers.
Grabbed the kids and NOTHING else mattered.
I literally couldn't have cared what I was wearing and could have been naked for all I cared.

I put my bra on first followed by my socks (if it's winter). This is because they are the 2 most difficult items for me to put on as I have a frozen shoulder and tendinitis in the same shoulder, plus osteoarthritis in my hip,so I need a 'sock aid' to put my socks on as I can't reach my feet! Roll on hip replacement operation! Knickers are put on after bra and socks,followed by T shirt/jumper then jeans/trousers.

Bra first while I wait for the HRT on my thighs to dry!

I’m not saying I always put my bra on first but usually it’s bra, knickers,socks. If that makes me a monster so be it 🤭🤣

Bra first! Especially if at the pool. I dry myself off dress my top half with my towel wrapped around waist and then add knickers underneath the towel.

I like to dress from top down.

I have large breasts and so therefore always put my bra on first as I need it even round the house

Knickers, jeans, bra and then top for me. The only time I put a bra first is taking the thing off 😂

Knickers first, then bra on backwards and spin it round and put arms through the straps. This is the only acceptable way to put a bra on.

I never understood those who feel the need to do “the twist”. Lean forward arms in straps, boobs in cups do up behind back! Simples!

When I've been swimming roll my costume down and dry my top half and put my bra on first before wrapping my towel round my waist and putting my knickers on underneath it.
At home it's knickers first.

What about in the summer if you don’t wear pants or bra? Skirt or trousers then top? Or top first then bottoms?

I can’t do up at the back, my arms won’t bend that way!

I do the twist with one of my sports bras, because the straps are just too tight and awkward to do up behind me. I have a close friend with a congenital shortening of one of her arms, who has no option but to do it that way.

Who doesn’t wear pants!!?

Quite a few, particularly if you’re wearing a skirt or dress and you don’t want a VPL and perhaps you find a thong uncomfortable?

1. It’s still far too chilly at the moment but in the warmer weather l often don’t wear knickers with long summer dresses. Obviously l do if I’m on a period and l always wear them with trousers. Generally, l don’t go round flashing my knix in a dress when l’m wearing them, so l’m not going to be flashing my bum either.
2. Likewise, when l’ve got tights on, l usually wear the Autograph tights which have a decent sized cotton gusset. No knickers required with those. That’s why the gusset is there. The pictures on the packet are often a give away. Because there’s no double layering the top adheres to the body. Almost no slippage at all.

l have friends who do the same.
