Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

I've just checked and I am dressing in the approved manner. Knickers, bra, socks, jeans, t shirt then jumper. 😁

Putting a bra on first is almost as bad as taking socks off last IMO

I put bra on first. I need help with my knickers as I can’t bend down. So it feels polite to cover my boobs so they are not swinging in whoever’s dressing my bottoms half’s face lol

It has enraged me for years and years every time I watch ‘eyes wide shut’ and Nicole Kidman does exactly this.

This seems wild to me.

Probably I should get out more.

Im a bra first kinda gal

Deodorant, bra, knickers, bit of perfume, dress then a bit more perfume

Everything else can wait until im about to head out the door

I don’t wear a bra, so knickers first

I tend to shower and get the top half of me dry , then apply body lotion + deodorant to top half then the rest of my skincare .
Then apply my daily facial sunscreen and when that’s settling on my face I get my bra and top on .
Then knickers and body lotion on legs ..

I I can’t understand the obsession with what gets covered up first: I’m getting dressed inside my bedroom on my own so it really doesn’t seem a massive rush to cover up 😂

I put bra on first, so I can then put deodorant on. I put all other clothes on while waiting for the deodorant to dry.

It's psychological. Pyjama bottoms always go on before top. And they must be removed in reverse order. I can't imagine how wrong it would feel to be bottomless but with a top on - poor Donald Duck must be in a constant state of low-level panic.

No, no, no! You put deodorant on before your bra, otherwise some of the deodorant might go on the bra.

I use aerosol deodorant, but if I used roll on which needed time to dry, then deodorant would go on first, and knickers next. Only if deodorant was still not dry would I do socks and the jeans, before bra. But surely, for the love of God, people can see that you need to put ALL your underwear (knickers, bra, vest if worn) on before ANY of your outer clothes. Otherwise, civilisation will break down.

I tend to just walk around naked (lucky the kids aren't up that early) and do bra, knickers, bottoms, socks (never socks before jeans, they just catch too much), and finally top.

I get dressed in the order of 'if there was a fire and I had to run out of the house, what would be least embarrassing'. Therefore knickers first because I could always use my towel to cover my top half, or worse case, I'm 'just' topless and that's less embarrassing than being bottomless. Bra next so now I'm stood outside in a bikini and that's ok. Then trousers so no bum cheeks for people to see. Then top. Socks go on last because they won't matter in a fire.....
