Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Obviously it’s knickers first. Always. It’s crucial to the correct running of the world.

But my DH puts vest (in winter) and shirt and jumper on before his pants. I’ve told him many times this is Absolutely Wrong and disturbs me profoundly but he won’t listen.

I get this, I like to wear a non-wired bra for sleeping but would wear it with loose fitting pyjama shorts rather than knickers.

After a shower it'll be knickers first. If I'm wearing PJs, it'll be bra, top, then knickers etc. If I'm wearing a dressing gown and or nightie it's knickers first. Getting undressed, knickers come off last regardless of what I'm changing into.

Yes, pyjama shorts would also be acceptable. The key thing is not to be wearing a bra with nothing on your bottom half. [stamps papers with the word ‘APPROVED’]

If I had a bra on with a bare bottom half, I’d feel like some sort of weirdly sexualised Winnie-The-Pooh.

I put bra on first if I am going out, or expecting anyone. Knickers I am happy to leave off for as long as possible, literally 5 mins before I am out the door....I envy my friends who happily go 'commando' but I am don't want to feel undressed in public.... what if I got run over by a bus (as my mum used to warn me) ?!

Always knickers on first but bra always comes off first!

For me - it depends on how I'm feeling... but more often likely to be pants first as more likely to change my bra to match my top later! 😅
