Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Dressing gown after shower. Then knickers obv before moisturising etc, bra means taking the dressing gown off

But surely you choose all the clothes first, lay them out on the bed bfore, then dress? You can't go drifting around the bedroom willy nilly choosing clothes as you go (and still knickerless) can you!

Bra first, dry top half, towel around waist, bra on, deodorant, then knickers, then clothes. Sometimes if it's chilly I used my bra to hold the towel up while I put my knickers, socks and trousers on, then towel off, top on.

That's made me realise that far from being scattered over the floor in a night before moment of passion, my clothes are now always in the laundry basket or neatly folded and put away. When did that creep in? I feel a bit depressed now!

Similarly, I once had a conversation with friends about whether we wear knickers in bed (really covering all the pressing issues with that conversation, clearly) and I said ‘Well, I usually sleep naked but sometimes I need to wear a non-wired bra in bed for support, so on those nights I wear knickers’ and my friend said ‘Well, you don’t need to wear knickers just because you’ve got a bra on’. Er… YES I DO, because I’m not a fucking psychopath.

I don't know why exactly, but yes, if you are wearing a bra for whatever reason, then clearly you also need to be wearing knickers

After a shower I put my lovely towelling dressing gown on first. Then my knickers keep it on until I’ve decided what I’m wearing then put bra on.

I've realised there's a lot of towel talk on this thread. Does no-one else own and use a towelling robe for after shower/bath time?

I can't help but feel that if the bra-first people had a towelling robe, they'd quickly discover that knickers first is the only right and proper way easier.

You really think, that with all the porn freely available in the world, perverts are scanning MN forums hoping to get their rocks off from a mention of the word 'knickers?' It's not like anyone on here has given some erotic description of how they get dressed in the morning that's going to get someone slavering with excitement.

And, honestly, so what if some random does get excited at such a (bizarre) niche fetish. They don't know who anyone on here is or even what they look like. It might be weird, but how does it actually hurt anyone?

@ShodanI only use a towelling robe. Yes I picked up on the towel thing too!

@PublicHare M&S do some lovely thermals. I do not wear a bra, but the sense and warmth I feel when I put on my thermals is outstanding and they are nice looking too!

I am going to bed now, but you guys are
