More U turns, more watered down reforms.

SpaceRaccoon · 19/03/2026 08:04

That's going to be popular.

No wonder he acts as he does at PMQs he’s taking out his weakness within the party on Kemi instead. Classic weakened bully behaviour.

It’s his failings. Even Rayner is stronger from outside the cabinet.

CruCru · 19/03/2026 09:36

God, it’s so embarrassing.

Yesterday's PMQs: Starmer's refusal to answer all seven questions about Mandelson signals the end of his "leadership".

Kemi just now: "Vote Labour, you get trash."

She hd just been talking about the Birmingham bin strike, but it's hard to argue with her statement in the wider context.

Quite sad I did this, but I was watching some old PMQ's on YouTube this morning..partly because it's only relatively recently I have started watching it.

It's a vastly different experience watching starmer, to someone like Thatcher or Major, but not in a good way.

It’s sad to see isn’t it. He’s thrashing around and doesn’t answer.

On musing I think it’s because McSweeney has gone, this means he’s more exposed to his party taking him out and that panic is making him lose control at PMQs.

McSweeney's departure pretty much confirms KS is a vacuum - a conduit to deliver the whacky idealism of Labour's ministers.

How he achieved the heady heights of DPP is a mystery to me.

He's the most extreme version of failing upwards you'll ever see!

Great piece, he hits the nail on the head.
Like bit where he quotes a Labour MP saying if Starmer won't defend it, why should they.
I can't understand why he was ever DPP either, or PM.

Just saw some clips of Kemi at the launch. Great stuff. I am loving her look at the moment, her clothes are gorgeous and she looks happy and confident - unlike bollard.

Upstartled · 19/03/2026 13:16

The thing I dislike most about Starmer is that his is such an unashamed coward. His inability to stand by any principle, his inability to take responsibility for any of his actions or words, his inability to answer a straight question. How can this wet lettuce be the pm?

Cinnamoment · 19/03/2026 13:48

I’m not a fan of the current lot at all but I also find Badenoch quite underwhelming and I really don’t give a toss what she is wearing.

She's so delightfully confident in her own skin and with her abilities and intelligence. I love it!

Your input on this thread to date seems to show disdain for @TheNuthatch and provides nothing constructive.

Interesting you feel the need to hide under a name used on this thread only.

She’s great. In contrast to all those posters denigrating her success.

Upstartled · 19/03/2026 14:15

Yes, I really like Badenoch. She will answer the question which was asked, not the one she hoped she was asked. She doesn't apologise when she takes on a risky opinion, being plain about who is a woman, when parliament was in its full koolaid phase. And, I like the clothes she wears - not least, because we know they aren't paid for by a meddling benefactor.

Sorry, I can't be arsed today. Try some sunshine, it does wonders for one's mood.
I will continue to compliment other women whenever I see fit.

The news is dire though isn’t it ‘Iran vows zero restraint’ - no good news in the offing here.

Can't argue with that; there are dark clouds on the horizon wherever you look.
