Just saw a Greens SM post, pretty up beat. Major policy issues aside they do make Starmer and Labour look like the angry rhetoric party they are.

Starmer is just all bristling anger and no clue how to deal with unemployment. He shows how fearful and self preserving he is each time he does PMQs.

The small boats issue has been (relatively) out of the news over the winter, for obvious reasons. It’s about to come back. Just in time for the by-election.

So it was Long Haul Hoyle was it? The guy who, as Commons speaker, has racked up more than £250k worth of business class flights and luxury hotels in less than 2 years. Can someone please tell me why the speaker of the HoC needs to go anywhere as a result of his role? Surely, he's paid handsomely to sit in big chair and yell at everyone and it's a domestic role, not one that involves foreign travel? Yet another Labour piggy with his snout in the trough. They're such a bunch of hypocrites it makes me want to vomit!

Well I've known people who wanted to work in the construction industry who needed surgeries because of the wear and tear of physical work. I often thought people should be prioritised who were otherwise able to go back to work but needed rotor cuff surgery, hips, knee whatever mechanical issue needed fixing asap. But it doesn't work like that unfortunately.
