Everyone with any interest whatsoever should be absolutely terrified at the prospect of Reform in charge of education.

You know how despite his first term,. Trump got a second ?

Piggywaspushed · 17/02/2026 16:41

I know, which is why I roll my eyes when people say we will never get a Reform government.

Not in the news: Ladbrokes reduce odds of Reform winning next GE.

Incidentally, Claude and Gemini did look at that picture and determine

"Matt Goodwin is on the right"

Reform will not be able to govern the UK.
5 MP's (Is it?) and I am sure there will be upsets and jostling for position amongst them long before the next GE.
Our PM has more integrity and backbone than they care to acknowledge and I do believe the country is noticeably waking up to the damaging stunts Farage seems to pull. ie the ridiculous legal challenge costing us millions.
IMO.
I wish he would go and live somewhere far away.
I noticed Nick Eardley was on BBC last night, was it instead on CM . I wonder.
Still less than flattering comments towards Labour I thought.

Well, the Tories must be narked at their being a new opposition shadow cabinet.

I noticed Braverman's moan against equality legislation. It's not like historically women have been the beneficiaries. Bloody disabled people dominating the workforce.

She’s concerned about young white boys and wants them to achieve better - which just, well I wish she’d put it differently that is all - obviously I’d prefer her not to impart her thoughts ever, but there she is sadly.
There are though some articles out and about on more minority backgrounds achieving grammar school places than white British, and mainly finding it’s due to the value placed on education by different ethnicities- not actually discrimination against white kids, although this will be the basis of some other weird Cruella dream I’m sure.
I do wonder about a British Indian woman backing all these things - I just ‘feel’ she lets down all of her sisters - it shouldn’t be about the feelz though I know. I also do essentially disagree with her views, policies and dreams though.

Wonder if Restore is taking some? They will rip each other apart hopefully- Musk’s cash v Farage ‘appeal’ (can’t believe I wrote that!)
Trouble with both is that it would be a repeat of brexit - shite obviously- but a range of voters all expecting a different option of how ‘immigration’ Will look from ‘less boats’ to checking ancestry back to 1100 and mostly not suiting anyone.
Doesn’t matter I suppose, as if either won they’d blame Labour, Tory, ‘lack of belief’, ‘Larry the cat’, the man in the moon - everyone but themselves for whatever they did badly (hint: everything).

That Goodwin picture. So obviously fake. ‘Refors‘, ‘Britain needs Remarm’. ‘Dow with Greents’

Is there something not quite legal about it? It feels off. It may be posted in jest but it feels off.

"Hey ChatGPT,. show me a picture of a door with a knob"

It's obviously a fake. Goodwin is currently obsessed with crack cocaine. Green party. Other things. Oh and he's got a lot of money behind his campaign. Push of notifications on X is off the scale.

Matt Goodwin (@GoodwinMJ) on X

I do not see how flooding Gorton & Denton with legalised crack cocaine, heroin, open borders and telling children they can “change gender” is “looking after each other”. The Greens are extremists.

Zia Yusef mentioned 'white working class boys' at least 10 times within a 5 minute slot when talking about Reform ripping up the Equality Act. Newsnight tonight. Jacob Rees Mogg parrots the sentiment and blamed the Lib Dems as coalition partners for ratifying the Act - which the Government in 2010 had to do as it was ringing fenced.

MsJinks · 18/02/2026 08:04

Just seen a summary of Restore Mass Deportation plan - albeit we had Tenconi here a while ago on his Mass Deportation tour.
Restore makes Reform look nearly rational, as I just posted on another thread. Obviously, neither are.
I feel a bit sick that such stuff can be posted and boasted about in the U.K. - well probably more so that it clearly appeals to quite a few people -,sad and scary days - hopefully these very right wing parties will all eat each other.

SerendipityJane · 18/02/2026 08:18

I suspect the thread about Suella is much more accurate of the publics views.

SerendipityJane · 18/02/2026 08:24

Hopefully will put a wee smile on some faces. In lieu of my tax.

These reform shadow titles are worth as much as the Fifa peace prize

Restore is clearly being pushed on MN/SM

I saw a clip of Victoria Derbyshire tearing apart Yusuf

"So will it be the same act but with a different label?"

Victoria Derbyshire humiliates Zia Yusuf on Reform UK's plan to scrap the Equalities Act, because, as she reads each of the things from the Equalities act he confirms they'll still be protected 🤷‍♂️

Again, when the policy vapour hits even the most superficial of questions, it's obvious bollocks.

All you need is an interviewer who doesn't simper and say "Super, gosh" when questions are not answered.

It's hard not to watch Zia Yusuf in action and thing somewhere a parking meter is under threat of it's job. He is the spokesperson for people who get their news from the spin cycle on their washing machine.

I suspect they stop listening when the Reform puppet opens their mouth.

Remember the whole shtick is "Vote Reform" - any more details are irrelevant.
