Button moon

I came across button moon last night on amazon prime and watched some with my 10 year old daughter. I loved that when I was little in the 80s. Dd really liked it too but kept on pointing out the men in that back (clearly visible) moving the puppets, wonder how that escaped me as a child 🤔. And then the spaceship for Mr spoon to go to button moon is actually a tin of heinz beans, tin of pink salmon and a funnel 🤣 brilliant!! Im going to watch some more tonight.

Anyone know of any other 80s cartoons available to bring back memories and laugh at things we didnt notice back then?.

Ohh im going to Google him and read up later.

I still know how to float a paperclip in water thanks to Why don't You? Admittedly, it's a skill I haven't had to utilise yet but maybe one day...

I loved Button Moon!

It’s one of those that I often doubted ever existed as people would deny it have had.

Mind you I saw a comment once where someone said Tiny sounded like Rodney Trotter and that has dimmed a bit of the nostalgia magic.

Oh that’s so nice to hear! It’s funny as I can’t remember the characters but I can still sing the theme/intro song. Because we had such little TV we’d record onto VHS and then watch the cartoons over and over again. Hence why the song is stuck in my head!

Anyone seen an old TV series from America called Mr Ed the talking horse its on youtube I love it !

@Devilsmommy I loved the Snorks too, it was one of my favourites. I still remember some of the lyrics to the theme tune! "Snork along, it's a Snorking celebration. Snork along, let's Snork a happy song..."

Not quite as old but ‘The mysterious cities of gold’ loved it. I’m not sure if it ended. Tv cartoon ‘Dungeon and Dragons’

I loved Roland the Rat.

My 2 year old loves my old Ivor the Engine books - I don't remember the TV show so may have to search that one out when we start allowing him TV time.
