In today's briefing, Homan said* *administration is drawing down 700 immigration enforcement officers. But this still leaves 2000 immigration enforcement officers in Minnesota compared with under 200 previously. He also promised to prosecute those who harass or impede ICE officials.

My thought are: what actions exactly constitute harassment and impedement? Does it depend on the feelings of the person being 'harassed'?

Don't they need to be in Springfield, to save the pets ?

I saw last week that ICE had detained about 200 people in Minnesota. That's a hell of an agents to arrest rate.

OK, my UK peeps. Why does there seem to be a 'feeling' going round that Farage may be the PM? Doesn't he have to lead the majority party for that? Reform UK only has 8 seats. That's a pretty puny amount next to what I consider the 'main' parties; Labour 404, Conservative 116. Even if Reform were to pick up the votes of every other party* excluding Lib Dem (as I think they're 'Lefties?) they still wouldn't exceed the Labour number (404 / 354).

What am I missing? Where is it expected that Reform will pick up enough seats or that Labour will lose enough seats to win the majority in Parliament?

*I have no idea of the 'leanings' of the other parties (SNP, Plaid Cymru, etc).

When it comes to LEOs being harassed by civilians, yes it does. When it comes to civilians being harassed by LEOS, no it doesn't. Then they call it 'keeping the peace'.

This is nothing new. We just haven't seen it this blatantly since the Civil Rights and Viet Nam protests in the 60s and 70s.

Reform, the party led by Farage, is getting a lot of traction atm especially among dissatisfied Tories. When the time comes to vote though.....?

For avoidance of doubt there is no way I’d be associated deliberately with Tesla with it’s current owner.

I hate to break it to her, but all her forefathers in the country where she lives were immigrants who travelled to the USA, and there is a strong chance that at least some of them were killers, leeches or entitlement junkies. In her case, entitlement junkies seems a racing cert, given her own massive sense of entitlement: it's likely to be inherited.

Odd thing too is I was watching apolitical thriller film today about a drone strike in an African nation. All the US guv characters in it were all worried about a little girl being collateral damage, the drone operators in tears etc.
