Trump was elected because the media of the past 3 decades have grown fat telling the luckiest generations in history how hard done by they are.

Hitler was elected because there was a ready made "stab in the back" myth to work with.

With no such ready made myth in the US (and west generally) the media had to spend two or three generations to invent and amplify it before it could bear the weight of Trump and Farage.

It’s bloody hard not to lose hope, but look at the people in Minneapolis and around the country protecting immigrants, running errands, ensuring children can get to school.

A lot of my American friends and relatives have stepped away from direct discussions on politics as it is just depressing. They cut down on news.

Yup, As Trump himself knows, and has stated, the MSM love him because he is so good for their ratings.

I am amused by people who still think the midterms will go ahead.

If they do, they won't matter.

There have been many reports in the UK of people who bought fucking enormous XL bullies - presumably against all advice - who have ended up partially eaten by them.

I’ve been reading some of the Epstein files today, how the fuck is there not uproar all over the media. Accusations seem range from paedophilia to cannibalism and everything in between. If this is what they’re willing to release then what the fuck is hidden.
