But why have the FBI seized the records in 2026?

No idea.

I remember the massive Arizona recounts. They claimed Chinese made fake voter slips made from... bamboo. They had an army of people checking the slips for... bamboo.

Arizona Election Auditors Check Ballots for Bamboo Fibers After Conspiracy Theorists Claim 40,000 Votes Were 'Flown in' from Asia | Law & Crime (lawandcrime.com)

"He then gestured to a piece of equipment that wasn't captured in the video interview but which was apparently being used to take extremely high definition photographs of individual ballots for inspection.

"That camera right there, that they [use] to take a picture of the ballot, they can really look at depth and find out is it a hand marked paper ballot because it's a 5k camera. You can see the folds in the ballot, because 92-percent of all the ballots here should've been folded because they came in through an envelope," he said, adding that he was "on a mission for facts.""

That bamboozled me at the time :-)

And the Georgia thing has me Bamboozled too :-)

Auditors are reportedly checking ballots for bamboo fibers in an effort to confirm an absurd conspiracy theory that fraudulent votes created in Asia were somehow counted in Arizona in November.

I had a skim through it, and quite a few wild claims jumped out so hard I might need a steak to put on my eyes.

This "document" is biggely worse than a CPC 5year plan CPC work report.

Honestly, as an example, I spun my mouse wheel and it landed here:

134 Announced the U.S. Space Command will be relocating to Huntsville, Alabama, creating 30,000 jobs and hundreds of billions of dollars in investment.

A super quick factcheck, lets see if a local news website opens :

U.S. Space Command Headquarters is moving to Huntsville - City of Huntsville (huntsvilleal.gov)

"About 1,400 USSPACECOM jobs will transition to Redstone Arsenal over the next five years. State and local partners have reaffirmed their original commitments made during the original 2020 site selection process."

"Huntsville has invested heavily to ensure mission readiness, including:

  • $400+ million in completed transportation improvements, with $250+ million in active construction projects
  • $600 million in K–12 school enhancements to support growing families
  • $200+ million in healthcare expansions, including upgrades at Huntsville Hospital
  • Over $150 million invested in quality-of-life improvements: recreation and community complexes, parks and greenways"

Can someone help me understand the end game of this whole Atlanta FBI raid of the 2020 election ballots? I don’t get it, because even if they award Trump the state of Georgia, what can they do now that the 2021-2025 term is done and dusted?

  • impeach Biden and scrub him from the records
  • bring charges against the Georgia officials—as a lesson to the 2026 officials—when the President phones and asks you to find 12,000 votes, you do it. Or else.
  • both of the above
  • any other ideas—I’m stumped
Edited

Coincidentally, someone has just sent me email with a link in it.

https://gregpalastinvestigates.substack.com/p/the-real-story-of-the-fbi-raid-on?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=2930974&post_id=186191042&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=1jjqn3&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

Now, I cannot vouch for this because I cannot vouch for Greg Palast and Thom Hartmann (Though I am especially fond of the penultimate paragraph:
"And there’s the canard of allegedly MILLIONS of alien voters swimming the Rio Grande just to vote for Democrats. When Florida used the ICE lists to purge 187,000 (!) voters from the rolls, mostly Hispanics, it turns out only ONE was an illegal alien: A Republican from Austria.")
but it might help.

I don't know the voting system in the US, but I have been reading that registered voters in the state of Texas have been finding that they have been removed from the lists. (Texas handed over their polls)

It sounds like when you register to vote, you can register as a Democrat or a Republican voter?

So possibly they are taking any lists they can so they can then purge the lists of Democrat voters before the elections. Then they figure that many people won't check beforehand and then their vote won't count?

I have no idea, but am trying to make sense of the things I have read, would love to know if there is some truth to this...

One of Pam Bondi's demands to Minnesota in return for calling off ICE was that MN hand over its voter rolls to federal government:

Third, allow the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice to access voter rolls to confirm that Minnesota’s voter registration practices comply with federal law as authorized by the Civil Rights Act of 1960. Fulfilling this common sense request will better guarantee free and fair elections and boost confidence in the rule of law.

Greg Palast has been following voter fraud issues since the early 2000s. I haven't read him recently so don't know if he's still got his marbles (it's a crazy-making field), but I certainly rate his 2002 book, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy and his work about the connections between the Bush family and voter-purging operations.

Yes, you register with a party, or no party/independent.

They can purge you if you haven’t voted in x number of elections. They can also purge you if there’s an inconsistency in the spelling of your name, which is much more common with voters with an accent on a letter—an é on one document and an e on another is an inconsistency—which disproportionately affects certain groups.

From the Wikipedia page about The Best Democracy Money Can Buy:

The first chapter goes into great depth covering the Florida Central Voter File, commonly referred to as the Florida scrub list, starting with a Thomas Cooper who was prevented from voting in 2000 because of a supposed January 30, 2007 conviction date.

IIRC the Florida scrub list in the year 2000 election used conviction lists where the years were recorded only as 2-digits: "January 30, '07".

Sooooo, that'll be a Thomas Cooper convicted on 30 January 1907 then. Or just a typo. Clearly the people deleting voters from the electoral roll didn't care.

How would they know who you vote for anyway? --stupid question if IT/Musk et al are involved.

I'm picking through some of our back catalogue and we have indeed discussed Rybolovlev previously, courtesy of Amy Siskind and Rachel Maddow.

Eg Amy Siskind, in Week 18 of her tracking authoritarianism series, posted this on FB on 18 March 2017:

9. Former WH staffer Crowley, who was fired for plagiarism, took a job as a foreign agent for a Ukrainian oligarch with ties to Russia.

10. Reuters uncovered that Russian elite have invested close to $100 million in Trump luxury towers in Southern Florida.

11. The yacht of Trump financial backer Robert Mercer, was spotted in the British Virgin Islands next to the yacht of Dmitry Rybolovlev, the Russian oligarch mentioned in Week 17 for his multiple connections to Trump and Wilbur Ross.

12. Mercer also has close ties to Bannon, and collaborated with him on at least five ventures, including Breitbart News.

This piece by Rachel Maddow was originally broadcast on 27 Feb 2017. Our original link is now broken but I've found a working link dated 28 Feb 2018.

Think this is the piece which discusses Rybolovlev buying Trump's giant tacky villa for a comically inflated price, then leaving it empty and decaying.

Piece is about 22 mins long.

Wilbur Ross at nexus of Trump Russian deal
With a line that runs through newly confirmed Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Rachel Maddow connects the dots between a billionaire Russian oligarch and a Donald Trump deal worth tens of millions of dollars.

Judge Blery ordered the release of Liam

Judge Biery signed the order with a photo of Liam and two bible verses: The first is "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." The second is simply "Jesus wept."

Astonishing thing for a judge to do.

Well said that judge. Very human; referring to "that pesky inconvenience called the Fourth Amendment"

and saying that

"Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency. And the rule of law be damned."
