Where was the most AMAZING place you've visited?

I'm enjoying reading the post "Where is the most boring place you've visited" but it's making me wonder what are considered the most amazing places visited?
Maybe we can build the dream wish list for destinations?

Personally I vote for the western fjords of Norway. Every turn is picture perfect scenery and the people were so nice.

So many amazing places out there. We went once to an observatory in the Atacama desert. It was so magical and atmospheric.

Newfoundland, Canada.

I saw Icebergs. Eagles flying. Moose. Mountains.

It was beautiful

Tokyo about 18 years ago, just mind blowing!

Nothing will ever top Thailand for me. I’ve been to 40 countries and it’s my absolute favourite by far.

Matterhorn mountain and Zermatt... and Splugen pass going from Switzerland into Italy.. a motorcyclist dream.. l rode it on my Z1000 kawasaki motorbike.

Monument valley, Death Valley, Yosemite

The Real Alcazar in Seville. Just beautiful. Everything about it is perfection.

Yellowstone, just an amazing place with the wildlife and the geological features
Norway, everywhere is just incredibly pretty, it’s visually the most beautiful place

Glencoe in Scotland. Stunning.

US national parks, especially Zion, Grand Canyon, and Yosemite.

Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
The whole of Cambodia blew me away actually.

Lake Maggiore. The most beautiful place I’ve ever visited.

Krakow. Was just a brilliant weekend.

Landscapes, highlands, rainbow striped hills, icebergs, canyons, waterfalls and natural hot springs on an Iceland road trip. Even though I love warm weather.

Italy. I love it. The beautiful cities, countryside, people, food, wine, coffee, history, culture. It's wonderful.

Goa in India and Queensland in Australia for me. Just the whole tropical wilderness aspect.

Isla del sol on Lake Titicaca.

The Maldives was paradise.

Staglieno Cemetery in Genoa. Hundreds of tombs with the most wonderful statues standing over them. It was quite overwhelming.

The Tag Mahal. Breath taking.

New Zealand. Specifically Kaikoura but honestly I found myself catching my breath regularly as I travelled from south to north island. It is honestly truly the most incredible place I’ve ever been.

Masada, Israel

Iceland for the breathtaking landscapes, the ever changing micro climates and the amazing hot tubs.

South Africa for sunsets so beautiful I nearly wept and incredible wild life and food.

Italy for the personalities, the food, the fashion and the dolce vita.

Paris for being just so damn Parisian.

The Palestinian Territories for the history. Jericho and Bethlehem and Jerusalem blew me away.

San Sebastián for the pinxos and tchakoli (probably spelling those wrong!)

I loved Cambodia, Novia Scotia, much of the south-west USA, and - randomly and unexpectedly, Merida, Mexico.
