The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee. The other Nobel Prizes are awarded by the Swedish Nobel Committee.

I thought that was satire when I first saw it. It's horrifying but surely no one will take him seriously. Just when you think Trump couldn't publicly humiliated himself anymore he demonstrates he can sink even lower.

How can the Bible Belt Americans who are so moral and presumably teach their children not to steal, support a president who is trying to take another country like Greenland this way? It’s utter madness.

I just hope that if he really does try to make a move on Greenland the military leadership will refuse him and/or GOP will impeach as allegedly there is some talk of doing, though I wouldn't hold my breath. They've let him get away with enough insanity, but maybe moving it to a global stage against America's still just-about allies will move someone to act given how wide open it leaves everything, including America, to Russia and China if Trump tries to fight with NATO.

I watched Mike Johnson, the Republican speaker and apparently third most powerful man un the USA, being interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg yesterday. He looked dead behind the eyes as he parroted the bullshit lines, including 'freedom-loving folk' or some such bullshit apparently all appreciating what Trump is doing to keep us all...free. Because, yeah, taking countries that don't belong to you really looks like freedom.
