The more intelligent ones can tend to be more generally dangerous because of their manipulative power and ability to fake normality. But Trump, although stupid and undereducated, has other features which contribute to him possibly being paradoxically one of the most dangerous psychopaths of all time. Especially his brilliance/nonchalance as an iconoclast and the populist charisma in his public persona/public speaking.

We all know Trump has no interest in peace, just making money for himself and his ‘family’.
He’s dragged out supporting Ukraine (and Europe) not only cos he thinks Putin is his BFF, but also cos he wants a piece of Ukraine’s valuable mineral resources.
He’s threatening Greenland, not for security (huge decrease in US troops stationed there recently) but for a piece of the mineral wealth there too.
He has no morals just a fruitless attempt to try and prove himself as worthy (by amassing wealth) to his dead parents.

I don't think Trump is autistic, for what it's worth. A narcissist, definitely. And if not suffering from dementia, certainly affected by age-related cognitive decline.

It's likely only if (when at this rate) American troops are actually dying in large numbers that it really makes a big impact. The Vietnam war was so costly politically because of conscription. All countries are like this to a certain extent. The problem is America is so dominant militarily and so good at air power they have been able to shield their population from the costs of war. So for a long time now drone strikes have been preferred rather than boots on the ground. But it's bred an odd sense of complacency I think. And its good for a country to prioritise their soldiers lives! But America can do it at the expense of 50 civilians lives and not think about it.
Think what a shock WW1 was to people who thought war was either heroic cavalry charges or the rather boring business of quelling protests/rebellions overseas.

In many ways it's surprising it's taken this long for another guy like this to rise to power since Hitler did it. (Remember Hitler started as a democratic and patriotic leader)

And the Democrats wasted effort worrying about what a woman is, rather than the rather more pressing issues such as keeping Trump out of office.
