After Greenland will come Canada. By which time Europe will have kicked his troops out and he’ll relocate them within Canada. Just a handful of countries kept up their military. We’re all so screwed.

Well 30% seem to love it and truthfully, I think the rest are exhausted. The incessant barrage of corruption, gaslighting, lying, military action, violence from ICE, tariffs, spiralling health insurance costs, etc. is exhausting.

They're doing what Bannon wanted and flooding the zone with so much shit people are completely overwhelmed. Plus, I think there's disbelief that he will actually do these things or that congress will allow him to.

Because there's enough dumbass Americans willing to keep thinking everything the daft shithead does is great and the rest of them are too busy trying to work out where in the world would be better to escape to. There's also a great percentage of people, as there is the UK, who have just opted out of any sort of political engagement because it doesn't matter who's in charge - nothing every changes. Just otherwise useless, power-hungry men making themselves and their mates ever-richer and starting wars. That's really all global politics is.

I done a post last week where I had listed the numbers of troops of NATO countries ex US, and there is a lot. Turkey alone is nearly a million. I am not saying that to disagree with you but...

but...

I really do not think it beyond possible now that he will talk of teaming up with Putin. And Xi over Taiwan.

The world as we know it is being destroyed and the pace of destruction over the last decade has accelerated rapidly.

I cant help but question democracy. When the voters of just one country have this kind of impact across the globe it might be time to question how our leaders are chosen in future !!

Is he getting Norway and Denmark confused? It's the Norwegians who give out the Nobels, Greenland is Danish.

He also claimed to have stopped the Armenia - Cambodia war. Which was also a surprise to both countries given the 4000miles between them.

Democracy isn't great, but it's the least worst option - how else would you like to choose a leader?

He may have meant Armenia and Azerbaijan but that’s not what he said.

To be fair for the last few decades the Americans have invaded and plundered multiple countries under the guise of preventing humanitarian crises, preventing the proliferation of nuclear weapons etc etc. Ourselves and the Europeans have often been willing participants or cheered them on from the sidelines. There have been a few muted protests been not much.
Now they’ve finally gotten round to doing it to us. We can’t be surprised that no one really cares. If and when Trump takes Greenland, when he’s replaced in a few years time whether it’s by Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsome or whoever, they’re not giving it back
