Help settle a discussion dh and I are pondering please?! I think we have more TVs than the average household, he thinks we have the average amount 😂
How many do you have (with either freeview or sky or with streaming functions) and how many people live in your house?
I’ll come back and update in a bit, I’m just going out for a quick swim!!

O00ps · 10/01/2026 08:56

Five adults, one TV in the sitting/living room.
(Gamers with monitors in own rooms x 4, we don't watch a lot of tv)

tryingtomakesenseof · 10/01/2026 08:57

3 - living room, playroom and our bedroom. 2 adults and 2 primary aged children

germanshepforever · 10/01/2026 08:59

We have one in the living room. Just me my husband and 1 year old

TrobadoraBeatrice · 10/01/2026 09:00

One that actually works, for 2 adults and 2 kids in the household.
We do still have a small set upstairs (moved when we replaced it with a bigger one) but it was last used to watch the Olympics in 2012! Then the cable got used somewhere else and the screen is just sitting gathering dust.

SandrenaIsMyBloodType · 10/01/2026 09:03

Two. One in the sitting room. One in the basement room where we have some (rarely used) exercise equipment. That one does get watched when DH does the ironing though..
DDs now moved out but we’ve always had just the 2 tvs.

hugoagogo · 10/01/2026 09:04

2, 1 in the living room and one in the spare room. Just 2 of us, but we dont always want to watch the same things.

DisappointedD · 10/01/2026 09:06

4 people, 4 TVs. Living room, and in the Three bedrooms. We don’t actually watch that much TV though.

DS mainly uses his for Xbox, living room has the radio on via fire stick mostly and DD13 has just started watching more series in her room.

AllTheChatsAboutTea · 10/01/2026 09:07
